02.18.09Taken before katie left for the nightKatie is off to Nottingham for the night. Nottingham, where gun crime is rife, there are 131 crimes per 1000 people, where there is the nation's worse performing police force and where there are more burglaries per capita than anywhere else in the country. I do hope she makes it back safely to the peaceful environs of E2. Today she is wearing yellow Prada trousers, a leather bag from a souk in Marrakech and a cardigan from Topshop.

02.17.09taken on the way to collect her giroLiving in East London gives us lots of opportunity to see tracksuits and sportswear. It's clearly having an effect. Today Katie is wearing an Adidas basketball top, £3 Ebay boots and some plastic bracelets from Brand Alley.

02.16.09Taken on the morning after brusselsWhat with our brief sojourn in Belgium the weekend felt exceptionally long. I didn't even mind getting up for work this morning. By the looks of things, Katie is in celebratory mood too. Today she's wearing a skirt and t-shirt from H&M, her belt is a strap from her mum's broken Louis Vuitton bag and her incredible gameshow host jacket is Burberry.

02.15.09taken in the place du grand sablon, brusselsThe Katie and I had a wonderful weekend in Brussels. We stayed at The Dominican and can't recommend it enough, it was the most beautiful hotel. Here is Katie in the (rather cold) Place du Grand Sablon. She is wearing vintage grey suede boots, an orange dress with a bow from Cos and earmuffs from Accessorize.

02.14.09taken after prosecco with gillian and heatherWe just met Heather and her lovely niece Gillian for breakfast and a bottle of prosecco up at Shoreditch House. And now we're off to catch the Eurostar to go to Brussels for the night (a present from my beautiful Valentine). Today she wears a fluourescent yellow dress from River Island, Luella bag, Armani belt and awesome necklace from the Mad Fashion Bitch. First overseas post for What Katie Wore will be tomorow.

02.13.09taken in the upstairs mistKatie left the house at 5.30am today (hence the cross face). It's not a poor picture, I think there is genuinely mist in the flat. Today she wears Carvela shoes and a Markus Lupfer kilt with leather hearts.

02.12.09Taken on the earthy knollKatie's incredibly bright today to celebrate the first sunny day we've had in months. Her green wool coat was from a charity shop when she lived in Germany, the mustard cardigan is from H&M, the rainbow skirt is from Montevideo in Uruguay and the blue string tights are from Emilio Cavallini.

Today she's wearing two chiffon shirts from Topshop, a grey jersey dress from H&M, a girl dolly brooch from somewhere in Uruguay, my waistcoat, Carvela boots and an Obama bag from the inauguration in Washington.

02.10.09Taken on a gloomy tuesdayPeople at Katie's work are apparently hassling her that the today's post is slightly late. Surely if you work with her, you can see what she's wearing for yourself. I'm a busy man with substantial Powerpointing to do. Give me a break. Today Katie looks pretty awesome. The jumper is Benetton, the shoes are Solea (I couldn't find a website), and the absolutely brilliant necklaces were a present from Karin and Robin formerly of Mad Fashion Bitch (now of Normal For Norfolk).
