Normally I’m well up for the soundsystems, red stripe, jerk chicken, £20 bags of oregano, significant risk of personal injury and impossible journey back East that is Carnival but we just couldn’t get motivated today. Instead, we had a coffee on Broadway Market and went for a walk in London Fields. We’re so old. Time for us to move to the suburbs I think: somewhere with good schools, a pub that doesn’t play music and a bench near a pond with some ducks. Here’s the old dear in the park wearing my Ralph Lauren shorts, River Island tights (with the feet cut off), Marc Jacobs jacket and a Tatty Divine cameo. Now for a nice Horlicks before the Antiques Roadshow starts…

I realised I was getting old when I started watching cookery programmes on weekend mornings instead of the Hollyoaks omnibus! Love that Tatty Devine brooch – I think their new collection must be out soon. Hopefully I’m not too old for that…
I think for the last entry of WKW Joe you should make Katie wear every item of clothing that she owns. If that simply isn’t possible then at some point in the not too distant future will you show us a picture of her wardrobe? much love x
I love those tights…i’m sure though if i just start cutting the feet off mine…i’ll end up looking like a low rent stripper. Old is good xxxx
I love Katie’s shoes, where are they from? I think poor Katie might suffocate if she wears all her clothes at any given time! How about for her last week, we the WKW fans, send in lots of fab stuff we’ve made for Katie to wear. It’ll be kinda cool to have WKW community and have a helping hand to make Katie’s last few outfits! It’s only an idea. It probably sounded much better in my head!
You think you guys had an old day, I had to study on a Sunday! BOO xo
I’m sure I saw those tights and shorts on Broadway Market today… must’ve been Katie. Nice coincidence after reading about the cute blog that made me go ‘aaahhh!’ in The Guardian.
Isn’t London Fields crazy busy these days. Somewhere in the country (or back streets of Islington) might be what you need.
What a coincidence Hana – we were just sitting outside that new bar, Off Broadway!
Jx
P.S. Shereen – love your idea! And, FYI the shoes are Irregular Choice.
Jx
I second the idea for a pic of her wardrobe!
Nice to see you looking so well again Katie! Been following the blog ever since the Grazia article. I invested in the ‘Handmade’ Jammie Dodger brooch after seeing you model it so well. I wore it over the weekend at a party and I have to say it caused quite a stir! My friend’s toddler cried because it wasn’t real! Keep up the fab work, both of you. x
Thanks Joe! Oooh, it would be super awesome to send in lots of pretty stuff we’ve made for Katie!
