09.30.09taken after the oakWe met our very pretty friend Anna last night for a couple of drinks at The Breakfast Club and a chat about the blog. I'm still not bored of talking about it for some reason - you'd think after nine months I would be. Then, off to the Royal Oak for some supper (Katie ate smoked eel - yuk). Today she's wearing a gorgeous new Irwin & Jordan shirt, Pringle silk skirt, red tights from Future Vintage and that brilliant bow from Dolly Knits. Bye for now.

09.29.09taken after franceWe're back from France and it looks like Katie has picked up a new chic way of doing her hair. It's actually not that dissimilar to my hair. I'm all about replying to emails today so no time for chat. But I think Katie looks especially lovely in blue today. She's wearing an Iceberg dress, vintage Escada shoes and a Chloe belt. Lovely.

09.28.09taken in la place du capitoleWe found a really cool hotel, Le Grand Balcon, right in the centre of Toulouse and spent yesterday and this morning exploring the town (by which I mean, we've eaten a lot of duck and taken quite a bit of wine and armagnac). We fly in a few hours so just time to check out and find somewhere to eat some snails and drink a pastis - then I can tick off all the boxes on my South of France list (I wore a cravat to supper last night). 09.27.09taken on the way to toulouseIt was a great wedding at Chateau de Beaulieu yesterday. So many happy people, a beautiful bride (with a stunning dress), and lots and lots of Le Boudin, foie gras and champagne. I think I could happily live in Gascony. We're leaving our beautiful chateau now and are off to find somewhere to stay in Toulouse later this evening, exploring the countryside along the way. Katie's wearing a dress from a market.

09.26.09taken dans le chateauSo we're in the South of France staying at Chateau les Charmettes. It's amazingly beautiful (and they gave us the bridal suite to change in because our room wasn't ready). We're off to the church now to see our friend Anne-France de Castelbajac get married to her boyfriend Matthew. It will be brilliant. Katie's wearing Pringle and Cacharel. I'm wearing a tie.

09.25.09taken before the weddingThis has got the be the best outfit Katie has worn all year. Yes? We walked about 100m out of our front door this morning and she got stopped by about five people all saying they loved it. Some workmen in a scaffolding van even honked their horn too. Katie's style transcends social barriers. I think she's going for the 80's Court Jester look. It consists of the new Jessica Dance necklace, my socks, ASOS jumpsuit, TK Maxx shoes and tonnes of other brightly coloured stuff as well. We're away for the weekend to our friend's wedding. 09.23.09taken after the seminarOur social media seminar was pretty good last night. And the food afterwards at the The Boundary (and then cocktails at Lounge Lover) was excellent. Not sure what's going on with K's hair this morning. I think I like it, but it's a bit leonine for me. She's staring at me like a gazelle she's about to take down. Today she's wearing a Ganni dress, lace leggings from Olga de Polga in Spitalfields, Tatty Devine popcorn brooch and Calvin Klein booties.

09.22.09taken before the irwin & jordan partyThe pitch is over and so we had a good celebration around Shoreditch last night. But I still haven't quite got my girlfriend back - she's off to the Irwin & Jordan LFW party tonight but alas I can't make it (there's a work social media thing that I agreed to go to ages ago). Maybe I'll see her tomorrow night. Today she's wearing a beautiful knitted hair bow made by the lovely Jo at Dolly Knits (check out her store and buy stuff, buy it all!), a French Connection silk dress and a Cos blazer. 09.21.09taken on big pitch dayKatie has just about recovered from all the excitement of the Issa show at London Fashion Week last night (she was at the same show at Anna Wintour and OMFG!!!!! Naomi opened the show! Naomi!) Now back to the real world and Katie has a big pitch to win this afternoon, so she's all dressed up professional corporate style - she might as work at a bank with what she's wearing today. It consists of gorgeous New Look sequin dinner jacket, Daks trousers, Smythson bag and a new Moschino silk scarf. Lovely.
