Know this recession thing everyone’s been talking about? No, I’m not sure either, but from the snippets of conversation I’ve overheard out at lunch, I gather it’s some sort of powerful gypsy able to force one to auction a favourite E-type, open the East Wing to the public, or purchase an off-the-peg dinner jacket. Anyway, from what I understand, this recession fellow has recently well and truly come a cropper. So now we can all get back to ploughing our trust-funds into 2.45 at Kempton, yah? Here’s my thrifty little Katie displaying some true British grit, making do and mending with her mother’s silk scarf and skirt, a charity shop cardigan, H&M booties and a Cartier watch. Good show.

Please please PLEASE can we have a pic of Katie’s wardrobe?? I’ve seen other requests for the same, and I do apologise for continuing the trend, but I feel it is imperative that I see this wardrobe. And the shoe collection. I insist! PLEEEEEEEEEEASE?????
I love this, it looks kinda old-fashioned, but in a good way. Miss Marple with a twist. Not that she would be able to walk in those bad-ass booties. Miss Marple that is, not Katie.
What animal had to make way, Joe?

Je ne comprends pas.
Do you mean the bag?
That’s as fake as the Cyber Lion on your mantelpiece.

I was totally believing the thrift aspect till I spotted the Cartier watch lol Nought thrifty bout that!!!
I’m not so sure the recession is over. It’s just what they want you to hear because they think it is trendy.
I am liking make do and mend.
Rocking the pastel look…
Your hair and make-up look different everyday too!
Well done.
@Joe
Very ‘in joke’.
You’re sounding very much like a failed creative.
Does that explain the suit?
Hang on, there’s your next blog!
