As part of my preparation for taking an early grave (aka the Commando Challenge) in October, I’m doing a 5k run around Regent’s Park tonight for NABS, the advertising industry charity. I then plan to put pay to all of my training and abstinence by going out afterwards for as many beers as my enfeebled frame can manage. Katie is already pretty enfeebled as she’s working terribly hard at the moment. Here she is, half asleep, wearing Russell & Bromley shoes, River Island tights (sans feet), Max C dress and Mango jumper. Wish me luck for tonight.

I knew I was right, had a sneaky preview of today’s outfit from my vantage point on the 149 bus this morning as it headed down Shoreditch High Street. Katie quite literally stood out like a beacon of cheery brightness among all the drab suits on their way to work. Katie you’ve inspired me to go in search of those tights and some sartorial happiness myself tonight!

As others have said before, those shoes are amazing! I really like this, the mix of textures is really nice. And it reminded me to dig out my big four strand pearl necklace which is currently round my neck. And am also going to attempt at some point to wear my dresses as tops/skirts- it’s a really clever idea that gives you much more mileage out of your clothes!

Please God let it not be Wednesday again….one is enough I need wine and not getting any till Friday!! Love that dress, the colours fab! Also like the sleeves on the jumper I have a couple like that and I love them but they are full length sleeves!

So tired. But was very pleased with my 5K – I wasn’t a rocket but I was able to sprint the last 400m or so. Definitely getting fitter. 26.10 is the figure to beat,
