The theme is Ghastly Weddings but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see Katie's costume. Today she's been wearing a dress from Future Vintage and Georgina Goodman shoes. In other news, Katie no longer smells of gin. And she's promised me a trip to TK Maxx at the weekend. And a fancy dress Halloween party. What a perfect girlfriend. Today she's also wearing lovely new Tabio Snowflake knee-high socks, Manoush dress and super warm New Look faux fur. Have good Fridays. Treat yourself with a nice pub lunch - maybe a ploughman's?

10.29.09taken on national smell like gin daySo basically, if you don't smell a bit like gin today you've totally failed at National Smell Like Gin Day. Sorry we didn't tell you about it earlier but we just assumed you knew. Katie was at the Campaign Big Awards last night (it's some advertising award thing - she won yet another award too), and I was just out and about drinking gin and stuff. We both smell well ginny today. And Katie isn't quite able to open one of her eyes (hence sunglasses in October - she's not trying to be cool). A few repetitions in today's outfit but ...

Today she's wearing a rainbow dress from Sonia Rykiel, Cos sweatshirt blazer, awesome new Wolford tights (thanks Sidonie!) and Calvin Klein shoeboots. P.S. Have you ever eaten baklava for breakfast? 10.27.09taken when katie gave bloodKatie's off to give some blood this morning. What a fine, upstanding citizen (she only does it for the free tea and biscuits). And, considering the amount of Pinot Noir thrown back last night, whoever gets her donation will come out of surgery with a hangover and a kebab. Today she's wearing a Manoush quilted jacket, Prada leather skirt, Irregular Choice booties, Sonia Rykiel belt and big up props to Petra the prop stylish who lent Katie that giant perspex bracelet.

10.26.09taken on pay dayHappy Monday all! And it's pay day too, so I've now got a pocket full of loose change to spend on scarves and mulled wine. Katie's broke out a warm winter Zara suit, which she's wearing with a Chloe blouse, Charlotte Eskildsen rope belt and a Topshop cardigan. Doesn't she look warm? Perfect mulled wine sipping attire.

10.25.09taken when we went to the vintage saleKatie's going for some sort of experimental art teacher look today. What do you think? It's grown on me a lot. We're just back from the Affordable Vintage Fair where we met some of the girls from Rag & Bow, who were very cool. Now Katie has gone out for some lunch leaving me to watch some True Blood in peace and quiet. Excellent. Today she's wearing a vintage dress, brilliant Cos teacher smock coat, Kurt Geiger shoes and an enormous Kyboe watch.

10.24.09taken in leadenhall marketWe're just back from a spot of lunch in Borough with Katie's folks and took a quick snap in Leadenhall Market on the walk home. We've got a busy day lined up today - first a party this arvo for our friend Tabitha who's moving to South Africa and then a party this evening for our friend Tommy who's moving back to Australia. What's wrong with rainy, crimey, expensive London? Katie's wearing her party outfit already - Miu Miu shoes, Primark skirt, vintage sequin top and a Burberry mac with the sleeves cut off. Very nice. 10.23.09taken before and after the dinnerA double dose of Katie today, you lucky things. We went to the Friends of Scottish Rugby dinner last night which was as excellent as ever but for once we don't feel too bad the morning after. Either my body has finally evolved the whisky metaboliser that I've been asking for or we were uncharacteristically restrained. Last night Katie wore a vintage Jaeger skirt, top and belt (which together looks like a dress) and tights from Tartan Tights. Today she's in a vintage jumpsuit, United Nude sleeping bag boots and a genuine Royal Logistics Corps Army Belt.

10.22.09taken before a posh dinnerWe're off out to a posh dinner tonight so I've polished up my shoes and cleaned the largest of the marks of my DJ. Katie's already put in a 45 hour week at work so far and so the chance to put on a posh frock and drink some bubbles will be very welcome indeed. I'll stick a photo up of her evening apparel tomorrow. This morning she's wearing a Uniqlo polo, Wolford one shoulder body thing, a Topshop skirt and tights from Tartan Tights.
