We’ve had a yawn filled day doing the food shopping. We’ve have bought a bunch of extremely random ingredients, including squid, acorn squash, oyster sauce and ramen. This is what happens when they cancel Saturday Kitchen and televise the Lord Mayor’s Show instead (which might as well be shot in black and white). Here’s the missus wearing a Howies shirt, Tabio tights and a bow tie from Dolly Knits. Everything else is vintage.
NEWSFLASH: I hear that Katie was in the Irish version of the Independent magazine today. That’s very cool.
The Saturday shoppers must have been delighted with this vision, it’s cheered my bad day up some.

Well hello. I’ve never spoken before but have been reading for some time. Safe to say – I’m addicted. Today I have decided to break my silence to say one thing: you do your food shopping in Waitrose?!?! How posh are you two! Also, I think the shoes are shirt are my favourite parts. i went food shopping today in raggy paint-splattered 7 year old uggs, holey leggings, a man’s old pink shirt and my pyjama top. in fairness i had been decorating my kitchen, but i feel really ashamed now.

@el you’re right – the shoes aren’t technically vintage; I bought them for Katie’s birthday a few years ago from a shop on Brick Lane that no longer exists.
