Katie was doing the work hard thing yesterday until midnight. And so, since she’s never got time to make it to the gym, she’s developed an intensive work out plan based on dragging around several kilograms of plastic jewellery all day. Today’s shirt was a present from Sara, the skirt is from Uruguay, the tights are Tabio and the jewellery comes from various sources – H&M, East, Talullah Tu, the Natural History Museum and a holiday in Mauritius. There is genuinely very little I wouldn’t do for a holiday to Mauritius right now. Yawwwwwn.

I love the top half… I’m slowly falling for tights…
haha crazy. I like it.
If you do go to Mauritius Joe, please take your old mum. I can dress up too!!
i like this – it’s very mongolian. and i do love bright blue. where’s the shirt from? oh and are the boots vintage?
thankyouverymuch
i love d neckpiece in blue…….love all d jewelery ur wearing.
OOh I am not too sure about this, it is a bit scary crazy old lady!
But I love the colour of the gloves/tights
I love the top. For those of us with a little less courage, that would look so cute with jeans.
Of course, I wear everything with jeans- truly a rocker chick at heart. Right now I’m loving super dressy sequin blouses with jeans. I just listed a screaming one in my shop yesterday. Full of color, Katie you’d love it. I particularly love the turquoise necklace you are wearing. The skirt is cute too, but I’d have to tone it down with a slouchy white racerback tank. They have cute ones at Urban Outfitters right now. Have a great day! xoxo
LOVE the shirt…..I want it….where can i get it?
Hello hello
I think the shirt was a present from Katie’s friend Sara. No idea where it’s from and it hasn’t got a label in it I’m afraid.

Hey, I am going to try and be nice! I like the site, actually i love the site, and my girlfriend checks back occasionally to see some of the funky/quirky accessories that Katie wears…and have purchased some amazing pieces for her that I would never had found had it not been for this site… However I know you both work in advertising and I can’t help but think this may be a tounge in cheek poke at fashion?! I may be wrong?! I think on rare occasions Katie looks ok…but most of the time, in my opinon it looks like she has just raided the sales rack of a charity shop. Has she always dressed like that or is it because of this blog? And before you start slating me I think if she is confident to walk out of the house looking the way she does and can hold her head up.. then fair play to her..
Hi Dave
LOL!
No slating here! – Glad you like the site. I’m afraid, Yes, Katie has always dressed like this! It’s one of the reasons why I started the blog in the first place I guess.
As for the poke at fashion. Maybe, but I’m not really sure Katie cares that much about “fashion” (not the Paris catwalk type of fashion anyway). She just likes what she likes – which tends to be very brightly coloured, unusually made things.
Anyway, you like the site. Which is cool. Hope you keep checking in. Who knows, maybe in time you’ll maybe start dressing slightly more brightly too! I’ve got some purple suede loafers you could borrow?

Joe you are very diplomatic!!
Think Katie is more about personal style than fashion or the latest trend….but wouldnt be surprised if she had started a trend or two via this blog!!
So, does Katie change after the photo is taken each day? Does she have a wardrobe of dingy grey and black like the rest of us? Inspiring these shots may be but the outfits are quite odd sometimes, do you find folks take you less seriously when you wear a really quirky and colourful ensemble?
That outfit is adorable ! I wish there would be more people in Berlin wearing colours. All I see is grey and black. You might enjoy my colourful accessories ( hats and shoe-clips and pompoms and bows and everything…)
