I’m off to the opera tonight, dahlings. Nowt posh though. It’s La bohème but it’s being put on in The Cock Tavern, a nice pub in North London. Should be cool, although Katie’s not coming – she’s got her friend Josephine staying over.
Today’s outfit is a nice one isn’t it? It stopped raining just long enough for us to duck out onto the balcony. Katie wears the Kabiri necklace I got her at Christmas, Guy Laroche dress, Cos top and the Cartier. Lovely.
Oh, oh, oh and check it out – Katie’s in excellent mag Psychologies this month. She looks so beautiful in the picture they took. Very proud boyfriend.

Lovely article Katie – you’ve defin. encouraged me to always make an effort, even on the days when I don’t feel like it! xx
loving how Katie’s hair’s gone a bit Joan of Arc now its grown out. and the red lipstick today is great.

you look wicked in this photo katie!
i love your attitude, Katie, that one should have fun wearing clothes which make you happy, not being afraid of expressing oneself and making mistakes. and you look really great in that photo!
Katie looks very, very nice. I admire how you put all these colors together. You are really talented Lady:)
Hi there, you two. Saw the article in my March edition of PSYCHOLOGIES magazine ….love your courage to “go for it ” on making such a bold statement with your clothes. Wish i was young again !! Maybe could’nt go around the little north of Scotland town of Dornoch quite like that….but i tried with my pvc mini skirt/ platforms/ paper dress/Mary Quant makeup in the late 60′s. [ i am a Mackay too....lots of us are in Sutherland] All the best to you and joe .
Ooh,what a lovely picture. I like the house Katie’s standing in as well, I think I’d like to live there.
Wow, over 5,000 clicks a day?! That’s amazing. It’s a lovely interview – it really shows a lot of the lovely Katie we’ve got to know over the last year. And Sheena, hope you give in to that little voice inside that’s telling you to dress up and that we will see you on What You Wore one of these days.
That picture of Katie is lovely! I love the necklace the most! You are so brave with colours Katie!
holy crap, you look amazing in that picture.
and so true – you’ve encouraged me to dress more crazily. and more colours. although I’m head to toe in grey today, yay!
Wow Katie you look so lovely today! Really cool outfit and the hairs looking particularly awesome today!!
and as for the shoot WELL!
WELL . . . . . You absolutely Gorgeous!
Lovely Words from Joe! Enjoy the opera!

This article is amazing! You must be so excited. I love how you say you’ve always loved clothes, not fashion. The idea of fashion implies that things should be worn in a certain way, but your take is just the opposite. And today’s outfit is great; it reminds me of a box of crayons
Such a lovely interview and a great outfit today. X
love the outfit worn in the interview….is that Katie’s own bag? and if so, where can I get one?!?!
Wow, Katie looks particularly lovely today and the magazine picture is great too. I just love the way Katie’s hair is going at the moment.
Oh lordy! Katie looks cracking in the article (and in todays shot). Wow! What a girl!
Gorgeous get-up in the mag photo! Those tights/socks are ace. Love today’s outfit but am itching to take the necklace and make it just two or three inches shorter.
congrats, katie, you look stunning! and, joe, you are one lucky lad, indeed!! I adore these green shoes! xox
Stunning simply stunning……..xxxxxx You look so beautiful in that article……
Katie you look beautiful – we are so proud of you – of you both in fact.
Sheena – we thought you would like to know that Katie’s grandfather grew up in Olshoremore, Kinlochbervie and went to school in Golspie. We know Dornoch very well – have been to a wedding in the Cathedral and played the golf course more than once. Best wishes from her parents.
Brilliant article and the outfits are fabulicious!
Gorgeous picture! I too am one of the countless who have been inspired by your fantastic blog!
I had cancer 6 years ago and subsequently gained a little weight. I don’t like the extra pounds (and I’m currently working on shrinking them)…..but at least I’m HERE. So, I celebrate regardless.
The downside to the extra weight is that BLACK has become my signature color. *blech*
Katie, you are an absolute COLOR BEAM. Because of you, I’ve vowed never to look like I’m going to a funeral again. If I must wear black, then it shall be with rainbow tights!
Thank you for your energy, your enthusiasm, your sense of adventure, and the fantastic pictures. {Thank you to Joe, for taking them} Your outfit in the article actually made me feel *HAPPY* inside! Who knew tights had that kind of power?? *cheers to you*
Congrats on the article – make-up is wicked and you look fabby.
Wonderful comment above mine and big up the colour.

You are the best.
Congrats on the article. You deserve it. And what an amazing picture to boot!
i know i’m saying the same as everyone else but you guys have to hear it from as many people as possible.
Its all fabulous: the clothes, the energy, the words, just the whole darn blog, so glad you decided to stay on with us.
xx
The cute article and the comments on here brought tears to my eyes! In a nice way!
Woo WKW! x
Katie! THIS IS FANTASTIC!!! You look fabulous. Just Thrilling to see you getting better and better..Love to you Both. xxxx
Love the article and a wicked picture to go with it!! xxx
I think this blog is another, more fun, extension of people watching. I love checking it out when I get a moment to see what Katie’s wearing and get some ideas myself. I’ve always boen a bit partial to colour (I probably only have about three black items) but Katie has definitely given me some good ideas as to how to wear it.
Love today’s outfit and particularly love the outfit, make up, photograph in the magazine. I bet Katie had a grand day doing that shoot!
great photos and article. It’s nice to hear it from Katie’s point of view too.
I wish we had someone like you working at our place Katie – I often put on colourful clothes only to exchange a couple of peices for safer black or dark items just to ‘fit in’ with the crowd. If only those of us have an ‘inner rainbow soul’ could express it freely and with confidence then the Uk would probably be a better place. What would you say bloggers if we start to adopt Katie’s strategy as common place?
ooohhhhhhhhhhhh! Katie looks so fab on the mag….
Wowser! A ray of sunshine, love the colours today + the red lippie. The article is fantastic, very well done to you both. x x
adventurously indeed, the article couldn’t have had a better headline.
