We went to the launch 0f a new menswear label yesterday at The Book Club in Shoreditch. It was really cool – we heart Percival Menswear – fantastic traditional fabrics and really ace garms. Look out for the label in those fancy London department stores soon and maybe treat the boy in your life to something he’ll actually wear. Or treat yourself (not sure why I assumed the readership of this blog is 100% female).
Today Katie’s all in black and white: American Apparel tights, Tesco fake fur accessories, skirt from Archangel in Edinburgh and a jacket she picked up in Munich.
Lastly, such sad news about Mr. McQueen yesterday. It’s better that the real tributes come from those that knew and worked with him, but I’m sure you’ll all agree that it’s terribly sad that someone who brought much happiness to others didn’t feel happy himself.

The only thing I don’t like about this outfir is the skirt, it just seems like there is too much material. Loving the furry accessories though!! xxx
the hat is amazing!
I absolutely, one hundred per cent, love the shoes and tights. Also, agreed on McQueen, terribly/regrettably sad.
Fantastic! Both warm and glamorous
You look absolutely gorgeous! I so badly want shoes like that now.
Love the blog! x
Today Katie Rocks : )
Beautiful. Utterly. Both Katie and her outfit.
OOh you look so snuggly…good look today Katie…have a lovely weekend xxxx
Very Russian! I like it.
Oh Katie, you look stunning! Very classy
Bloody fabulous, absolutely love this outfit
Love the monochrome and funky fur ensemble!
RIP Lee McQueen what a huge loss to the British Fashion Industry!!
As someone else said, very Doctor Zhivago with the fur and tweed. Joe where are those beautiful beautiful shoes from?? Also very well said regarding Alexander McQueen, obviously lots of people will feel sad that such a wonderful innovator has passed but too much ‘in memoriam’ feels a little inappropriate.
OMG love this outfit so much!!!! Love the colours, the different fabrics/textures, it’s brill!
Indeed, it’s so sad about Alexander McQueen.
Spot on timing Katie – am having Black and White party tomorrow night… timely inspiration…if i can get those American Apparel tights in time i may well submit a WYW contribution (photo to be taken prior to my 7th gin and tonic i hope…)
Have felt very sad about Alexander McQueen today too as he pretty much hit fashionista highs when i first started to mess about with clothes – you have delicatley summed up my feelings…it also reminds me that this blog should be applauded for encouraging people to dress happy. Without wanting to sound shallow in the light of such news WKW has made my wardrobe and therefore my days brighter… thank you!
