My Valentine’s Day consisted of kicking my friend-with-benefits out of the house early and then going on to work for 13 hours at the artspace I volunteer at- we were having a fundraiser for our leaky roof and made loads of money. Pow!

I adore the simplicity of today’s attire, it speaks volumes… one chic chick!
Valentine’s consisted of packing up more boxes (moving home in just over a week!) and then my Husband took me to see a Beatles Tribute band at The Kings Theatre in Glasgow… was amazing (eventhough I was singing, dancing and going crazy *wooo* and Hubbie sat still… probably in torture as he’s not a huge fan, like me.. now that’s love!) x

My V day was very nice, woke up to a personalised ‘Alice in wonderland Book’ and new purse, how sweet. He had to go to work, dam jobs in retail!!! i went for lunch with my sister-in-law because my brother has deserted her to go pirate hunting with the british navy so kept her company then had pizza hut and watched a dvd with my man at night. xx

I spent Valentines Day all on my lonesome, mopping all the floors and eating scrambled eggs, as my other half was stuck up in Inverness. I did get sent some lovely roses to keep me company, but you can’t beat the real thing!

I had a chocolate-free Valentines day. My husband is respecting my desire to drop a few pounds so he surprised me with several dozen tulips with several dozen kisses (to match), instead.
Tulips are quite possibly the world’s happiest flowers. I believe they are the “Katie” of the flower family.

I went down the page and kept expecting to see some bright luminous colour but it never appeared- I don’t think I’ve ever seen Katie look so simple! Simple, but understated and classy and lovely. And I really badly want that scarf. And, to just add to everyone else’s comments, you really do look very pretty today. My boyfriend and I did absolutely nothing yesterday, we went to buy our friend a birthday present and while we were there he bought me Milkyway buttons and I bought his comic book. That’s as exciting as we got! But we were deliberately not doing anything since it’s a bit commercial and horrible. Found Joe’s post and sarcastic tone yesterday wonderful.

I hate to just repeat what everyone else is saying but the is such a beautiful photo of Katie.

For V-day, the bf surprised me with flowers and a really cool Ed Hardey-esque bangle. We had dinner at a new local wine bar (although we’re not wine drinkers. Hmm), then went to the movies to see Dear John. It ended differently than the book, but I liked it just as much, if in a different way. We both ate too much chocolate, which was supplied by my mom, who is quite possibly the most festive person I know.
