Katie’s off to some big old meeting this morning which is presumably why she’s dressed as a female version of Vega from 90′s classic Streetfighter 2. If things start to turn nasty, she’ll probably just scale the wire fence and jump and slash with her matador claw.
If you’re interested in making your own Lady Vega outfit you will need: a Luella jacket, a Chloe silk top, ASOS trousers and a Sonie Rykiel belt.
(NB: If Ryu joins the meeting then →↓↘P initiates the shoryuken, more than suitable for coping with any fence based attack).

Massive shoe envy emanating from the rural North West. Please, put us out of our misery and tell us where they’re from?
Love it! Very ‘spring has sprung’ and there’s nowt wrong with a bit of Streetfighter in the mornings… Though personally I was always more of a M.Bison fan – he works the military and cape looks well!
Beautiful, very oriental. Wish I could pull off a pair of kecks like that, but I would look like a fool.
: )
I am more of a Tekken fan myself, but I wont hold that against todays outfit.
Ah, glad to see that Katie has neatly avoided the (no doubt unwitting) the accusation that she was failing to reflect the range of political choices for our friends North of the Border in her outfits… Giving the SNP a sartorial platform doesn’t have to equate to declaring support, so I think that you can sleep safely tonight, Joe.Personally, though, I would have suffocated you already for the Tory slur..
loving it!!!!! love the bright colours.
@Joe ever thought of making the blog itno a book, like a big fashion album type thing with loads of advertising and tips??
Lulu xx
The top is soo pretty and i’m kinda loving the shoes too (must be a north west thing!! well north west girl now living in london …) xxx
At first I thought katie was showing off a very tiny waist!
ahhh I love this outfit, she looks gorgeous! The pants and jacket look amazing together! x
@Joe: I love you a thousand times more now. Seriously. Being compared to Vega by my boyfriend is a what I live for.
@Katie: You are divine. No one could make those pants look so brilliant! A fantastic outfit for Walpurgisnacht!
Glam in lilac and pink! I too thought the belt was Katie’s waist at first. And whoever said that WKW should become a book is absolutely right!
i love the jacket – and the top =P its abslolut lovely again.
Lovely! Colour palette is beautiful, and always good to see the Luella out.
And I didn’t understand the Streetfighter 2 reference, but I told my boyfriend and it made him chuckle, so thumbs up Joe, you got my boyfriend to be amused by a fashion blog.
lol @ Joe. Your hilarious Street Fighter references have completely overshadowed Katie’s outfit.
