Morning all. Nice day for a new government eh?
Here’s Katie just before she shoots off up North for some meeting or other. She’s wearing a whole load of stuff: Motel Rocks cardi, Tatty Devine brooch, shoes from the Lavender Room, another Kyboe watch, Stolen Thunder snoodle scarf thing, and probably a few other bits too.
So, what new policies are you hoping for from a Con/Lib government? I’m looking forward to that promised Shoreditch tax-break (in was in their manifestos, towards the back I think) and an end to Crocs and Croc Wearers.

I’m with you on the Crocs! Burn the lot of them!
Banning crocs and croc wearers should defo be their first agenda!!
Lush outfit Katie, love those shoes!!
Xx
Yeah ban Crocs!! Lovely outfit, the cocktail umbrella brooch looks lovely!
This is a lovely little outfit. I am very impressed. I enjoy the skirt a lot, it’s very nice colours.
Policy wise, I’m hoping to be taxed more, pay for services like the NHS, watch creative types be burnt at the stake, see all arts funding cut, watch Scotland and Wales go back to the ice age. You know, those sort of things. Your Shoreditch tax break made me giggle a lot, did you go to Eton Joe? No, then you’re not in the gang!
Spring has sprung – love the colour combination. Wish I had meetings with such gorgeous rays of sunshine!
The skirt is really beautiful and has a lovely retro feel to it.
As for policies, can we also ban Uggs? I hate the damm things, and it really gets my goat when people wear them in the rain. They’re not waterproof! You look like a fool with damp hamsters for feet!
I LOVE your hair like that but i have a feeling your getting it chopped soon…..i just know it!
Oh, I second the Ugg motion too! x
Urghhh Crocs are the worst right!! So many people agree!
What are they all about! I mean really!!!?
Katie looks radiant as usual, and those shoes are fab!
Totally agree with banning crocs and uggs. What about those disgusting extra long hair extensions too?
This is a great outfit, one of my faves. The colors really pop! And yes, I must join in on the hating of the Crocs and Uggs; they’re unflattering and vile.
i think of crocs and uggs like harry potter: harry potter might not be great, but at least it got children excited by books; crocs and uggs might not be pretty, but at least women are wearing shoes that won’t damage their feet/knees/backs like high heels or super flats can.
for this reason, i’d never ‘ban’ crocs and uggs. but, there i go again putting health over aesthetics…
Clea, you obviously don’t know that the Uggs are very very unhealthy shoes for your spine!
Messy!
and then there’s Katie’s outfit
look’s like the Government have sorted themselves out at the time of typing
Love the look especially the skirt – where’s it from?Been following for nearly a year now and not getting bored yet, still addicted!
I think if we burned Crocs the fumes would suffocate us all. Maybe some of the little badges people put on them would pop off in the fire, burning us. It would be the final revenge from those travesties of yuckness.
Props on the skirt. Is it definitely a skirt and not culottes?
Loving the outfit not so loving the coalition but hey ho!
As for crocs and uggs…..baaaaaaarf!
Love this outfit. The cocktail umbrella brooch is very cute. I’m also liking the civil liberties stuff – if it gets delivered….. (ermm.. not sure how that’s works with the banning Crocs and Uggs thing though!)
composition of pic is excellent
k – thought about being a model?
loving it x S
Clea – I agree with you. Fashion is important but not at the expense of everything else – ie Health.
