Awwww, this outfit is so cute. I love it.
Anyway, we’ve both got next week off work and so need to get our act together and book to go away somewhere. Any suggestions? The place must be hot + amazing food + lots of local booze + no children + have nice staff that call me Sir.
This is one of my favourite Katie outfits for a very long time – she’s in a H&M cotton dress, leather belt from a market in Bolivia (it’s meant to be worn by a horse), Tabio toeless socks, Where brogues and an incredibly cute wee birdie brooch from Ma Magasin.

Sweet!
ps.. when you find that location (sounds perfect, especially the no kids part – I like kids, I have 2 but they behaved and are grown up now) let me know, so I can book!
Love the birdie. I really like this outfit too.
Good luck getting away from children. Its half term!
Beautiful as always Katie, I admire you wearing socks in this heat! Speaking of heat, Budapest is an amazing city. I went there last summer; beautiful architecture, lovely island in the river and just lots of general groovyness. Give it a ponder

Love this outfit – sort of seventies/folksie with a Katie twist with the shoes.
I love white and brown together for summer – there’s something thats really nice about it
Have you considered the beautiful Adriatic coast and the islands of Croatia? Sun, sea, great food and wine are plentiful there…
New Orleans baby! Just got back and it was amaaazing. There was the odd kid about but not loads and it was hot hot hot, lots of live music and good food xx
This outfit is so gorgeous for the sun, lovely dress! Have you guys ever been to Marrakesh? The food, culture and weather is amazing and you can stay in private Riads so no kids! I’m pretty sure there was plenty of booze when we went, cocktails, beer and wine etc etc! Also we went to Pasha the club one eve which was great fun!!
It’s all about the island of Hvar in Croatia. Just turn up on the ferry and grab an apartment. Amazing island hopping, food and bars……..
Or perhaps this place in Mykonos that I’m dying to go to: http://www.i-escape.com/places_to_stay_overview.php?hotel_key=958
Love love love this dress, I want! I second the vote for Marrakech, really beautiful, amazing food and architecture, incredibly interesting and yes, the booze is plentiful (just not next to mosques)with amaziong local wine and beer. A riad with a private pool/courtyard is the perfect oasis in a desert city. We stayed in the Riad Monceau http://www.riad-monceau.com/Pages/page_presentation_gb.htm
Okay I’m really loving the brooch!
Very summery. I’m sure others have mentioned it but you do know its half term next week? Makes for an expensive holiday and hard to avoid kids!
OMG you should come to BORDEAUX. (I live there with my family ‘cos my folks make wine) the weather is like SO nice at the mo, plus there are no holidays at the moment -> NO KIDS
also its only like an hour from the UK.
so yeah come to Bordeaux, it has THE BEST wine trust me and the actual city is so nice (lots of clothes shops hint hint) basically sun, cheese, wine and the beach if you want to drive there…
Dear @Georgie
Unfortunately Katie and I don’t like red wine very much. But we’d be willing to give it another try. Before we book our tickets, please would you send us one case of each of the following, just to make sure we wouldn’t be wasting our time:
1 x Château Lafite Rothschild
1 x Château Latour
1 x Château Pétrus
And you might as well throw a couple of bottles of Armagnac into the shipping crate as well (although again we don’t think we like that much either).
Look forward to maybe seeing you soon!
Jx
Might be a bit late to book at such short notice, but this place is way at the top of my holiday wish list…

I went to Vilnius, Lithuania a few weekends ago with my boyfriend and it was lovely! Stayed in the Old Town and was surrounded by beautiful buildings and lovely people! Went to see the National Philharmonic Orchestra for a mere fiver too and it was brilliant! The weather was really nice when we went but a bit variable at this time of year so you might want to double check!
xXx
very lush outfit you got right there katie, love the shoes!
as for the ‘no children’? next week is half term, so that might be a little tricky.
xoxo
Croatia, Split anywhere on the Adriatic coast – Montenegro? Hmmmmmm, convenient you could do all this on a cruise
I’m in no way peddalling my wares though…. Much. Or how about Morocco? Lovely Souks and Tagines. Otherwise I know of a lovely bolthole in France I can rent you in Juan Les Pins, inbetween Cannes and Monaco. Guaranteed good food and wine, fab weather and it’s definately not full of kids!
Lovely clothes, can’t wait to see Katie’s holiday wardrobe. I’m sure you’ll find somewhere beautiful as usual but I am shocked you are not put off by the half term prices! X
Love love lovely! Sometimes I like it better simple. Amazing socks/shoes combination.
