Two more from the freezer: poor Katie’s still feeling gross. She’s well on the road to recovery though and will almost certainly be back on the blog tomorrow. Although having said that, I’m quite enjoying the retrospective.
The top pic isKatie at Richard Nicoll’s show at Krug-swilling, 80s favourite, The Bluebird.
The botton pic is Katie graduating from Durham.
Right, must dash – I’m sure I’m required elsewhere for changing bandages, applying gauze and counting T Cells.

I love the Bluebird but asides from that the first outfit is stunning and I love the fluff on the graduation gown! Mine was nowhere near that cool! I hope you get better soon Katie x
I love, love the first outfit. It is katie at her best.
Hope you are getting better guapa!!!
Aw, poor Katie! I’m very glad to hear she’s on the mend though. Lots of get well wishes to her!
Love love love the outfit at Bluebird. And a great shot too. My boyfriend took me there several months ago for my birthday after hearing me talk about it from your blog and it was lovely. They actually forgot to charge us for the bottle of wine too but we didn’t realise till after we left so couldn’t make amends! That isn’t a crime right?! Hahaha!
xXx
Love both pics, the first one looks so cool and like something out of Alice in Wonderland (the bright primary colours and Alice-like dress and tights and shoes), the second one so pretty. I didn’t look anything like that when I graduated! Wanted to look grown-up, which backfired and looked frumpy instead. Heh. If only I could turn back the clock.
I love the top photo – absolutely beautiful pic and outfit!
Only Katie would have fur on her graduation cape. BRILLIANT!
I have almost the exact same photo of me graduating from Durham with my hood over my head, in front of the same bit of Palace Green! It made me laugh that in the gown descriptions in the programme the BA one was described as ‘white stuff’!
I’m loving these photos from befor the blog started, though I guess it proves Katie isn’t just dressing briliantly because we’re all oing to see!!! The top photo is absolutely gorgeous as well!!
xxx
As has been said, Katie’s been creative all along i.e., PRE-blog!!! And you’re only getting better K so rest up & dazzle us some more. On the other hand, submitting to ministrations from a handsome nurse can’t be rushed
Love the top photo!
That outfit is colourfully gorgeous!!!
Yay – I’m another Durham graduate with an identical fur-hood on Palace Green photo! Katie’s graduation dress is much cooler than mine was though – some awful Topshop skirt suit if I recall correctly.
Top photo is utterly gorgeous, agree with Claire, it’s very Alice-esque.
I’m sorry Katie is still feeling under the weather. Get Well Soon, girl!
I love the BlueBird outfit. Its soooo Snow White!
The graduation gown is a Narnia-inspired creation of ingenuity (read: The Dog’s Bollocks).
Sarah x
P.S: Get well soon, Katie.
I’m pleased to hear you are on the mend, though there are infinitely worse things in life than spending a week on the sofa, watching This Morning, and being nursed better by a rather dapper Yorkshire man!
STYLE SOUK – Fashion Blog
Is the top pic Katie’s Facebook picture? I thought it was in front of a carousel or something at the time. I’ve always loved the oufit! Yes, very Snow White.
Really hope you’re feeling better soon Katie. I’m certain Joe is taking excellent care of you and that you are somehow still managing to look stylish throughout. xx
Another Durham graduate and Katie fan here! A girl from my course used her mum’s real fur hood from the 70s at our graduation, yikes. Did Katie go to Hild Bede? I recognise the concrete monstrosity of Caedmon Hall in the ball photo in the previous post.
First photo is clearly amazing!
A bit late to the show but what a great find! Katie is very inspiring….. what a great first photo
I know this is way after the post but I have to know where did Katie get that dress?!?!? It’s absolutely gorgeous!
