12.31.10Taken On HogmanayHappy Old Year's Night ya'll. We're off to a lovely little restaurant called Vincent's to have some kind of eighteen course feast, after which we'll maybe see what's going on back at the hotel. Katie's ending the year on a high. She wears a vintage Oscar de la Renta dress from YMC (a Christmas present from moi), Bebaroque tights and Bertie shoes. I got her some dodgy fake eyelashes from Illamasqua too. Have brilliant evenings and non-existant hangovers tomorrow. And don't get into any dodgy minicabs. See you in 2011. X

12.30.10Taken At A RuinaPortugal Day Two and we've been for a delicious fishy lunch at A Ruina and then burned it off swimming and playing tennis so that we're ready for the delights of Willie's Restaurant later tonight. Katie's working a very laid back holiday look today - a Cos sweatshirt dress, Wolford leggings, shoes by top East London designer Laura Villasenin and a bow necklace which was a present K's friend Josephine picked up in Sydney.

12.29.10Taken Above The 9th GreenAfter the summary humiliation of a Ryanair flight, we arrived in Portugal earlier today, where we'll be spending New Year with Katie's fam. Here's the old dear on our balcony overlooking the 9th green of the Sheraton Golf Course. It's not very sunny today so we're off for a swim and a sauna - we're planning a household diet for January so we might as well get off to a good start, innit. K wears a Lazy Oaf shirt with cats on it (a Christmas prezzie from me), Whistles trousers, Gogo Philip jewellery and Bertie shoes. Laters. J

12.28.10Taken With The JokerI'm at home feeling poorly and wishing Lotte Jones still lived here so that I had an excuse to watch Living TV. Here's that bird what wears the ridiculous clothes. Today she's wearing an especially ridiculous and somewhat evil looking Lego brooch of The Joker from the brilliant Year Zero London. Said brooch was a Christmas present from me and one which I'm rapidly regretting purchasing - the missus now hardly ever leaves The Katie Cave (formerly the spare bedroom) and has switched my gin with sulphuric acid. 12.27.10Taken When Katie Was Slightly GreenOh dear. We're all feeling a mite green and remorseful today. Especially Katie. Still, it's nothing some leftover Christmas dinner and a bottle of fizz on the train back to London can't remedy. We've had a really great break up in Fife and will be very sad to leave, especially since I've now been thoroughly initiated into the ancient and secret rites of The Village. Doesn't Katie looks lovely today (albeit slightly clammy)? She wears a Topshop dress, Manoush shawl and Mawi necklace. Next post comes from London.

12.25.10Taken When Katie Clarineted For ChristMerry Christmas y'all. To celebrate her festive love for our Lord J.C. and His birthday breakfast of holy scrambled egg and smoked salmon, Katie's decided to break out her clarinet and play some festive songs (namely, "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic). Katie's also modeling a present from her parents - check out her new signet ring. It was made bespoke by Charles Green and Heritage Scotland and features a Clan Mackay crest, essentially a big sword in a big fist, to be wielded aggressively at soft soothmoothers like me. 12.24.10Taken On The Night Before ChristmasA double dose of Katie today. Doesn't she look happy to be home for Christmas? The top pic was taken before an amazing meal at Martin Wishart's last night - Katie wears a Folk dress (a prezzie from me) and a Manoush gilet thing. In the bottom picture Katie wears a Pringle silk blouse, furry gilet from TK Maxx, Jessica Dance necklace and Bebaroque tights (another prezzie from me). 12.23.10Taken On Christmas Eve EveHiya pals. We've just been for a wee stroll along the Forth to the shop so that Katie could get her Buckie and a dozen scratchcards. We're off to Martin Wishart tonight (our favourite restaurant in the world) which means Katie's bound to be looking extra specially glamorous - I'll try to remember to take a pic of her before she gets too out of it. Today she wears a Manoush dress, part of a seriously large horde she recently claimed at TK Maxx, and my Loewe sunglasses. Must dash - it's present wrapping time. X

12.22.10Taken In The Kingdom Of FifeAfter a rather long (and for me hungover) journey we've arrived at Katie's house in Scotland. We're both looking forward to a week of getting up late, haggis and sausage for breakfast and DRINK IN MODERATION. What are your plans? Off to anywhere nice? Today Katie travels in an outfit made up entirely of Manoush, with a lovely necklace from the nice people of Me & Zena. What do you think? Must dash - we're having baby cow for dinner. NOM.
