Stop all the clocks! Hold the front page! After over two years of this awful blog Katie’s finally bowed to peer pressure and is wearing a pair of jeans! Wow. She came over all Good Life today and so we nipped over to Victoria Park to load up on ethical cheese, organically slaughtered meat and vegan booze. I’ve got lots of work to do but I might treat myself to a wee glass and some cheese in a mo.
The jeans are vintage Wranglers, the jumper is vintage, the shoes are tartan Church’s and the sunglasses are Lanvin.
Love this, I’m a bit adverse to jeans myself- though used to live in them. Seen a high-waisted pair I like atm but biding my time over them… x

Haha it really is quite a shock to see those jeans on katie but she does look lovely! Next it’ll be Ugg boots and crocs (let’s hope not)!!!

OK, true confessions time. I am a 56 year old woman so I could be your Mum. I have kids your age but I do find your blog absolutely delightful.I love seeing Katie in her amazingly colourful array of clothes,in her wonderfully varying locations, make no mistake. She is beautiful and obviously a lovely girl with it. But Joe, you make me laugh, and not sometimes, but every day.It is sheer delight to follow you and your lives together. I have a rich and varied life of my own but my guilty pleasure is logging on to see Katie and listen to you every day. You mentioned recently selling the blog. I love Katie’s clothes!! They are amazing.
I love that she is so unique and that she can afford to buy all of these amazing things the readers can’t. Hipster is great, I love the slang you guys use too that’s fresh off the mark, unique and certainly not part of a movement of speech designed to take working class lingo whilst mocking it.
I think it’s great you set up this blog, it’s so romantic, and not a coincidence at all that you both work in digital marketing.
Anyway, I do like the clothes and you seem like nice people, but stop the insane patter yah?

You know, I’ve been wondering for some time now if Katie ever wore jeans. I was especially curious about it because I myself didn’t wear jeans until high school. Even now I wear them sparingly (partly because they’re so uncomfortable!), and even then they’re usually colored or embroidered or something. Anyhoo, I think Katie’s jeans look great, especially paired with this kooky cool colors wonder of a sweater and the jaunty head scarf
As a side note, I didn’t know you were thinking of selling the blog (I really must check in more regularly). That sounds really exciting! It must be wonderful to know you’ve both really made it

i am also an infrequent wearer of jeans. i dont own any. i only have a few denim items actually. i don’t see what the big “thing” is with denim. although when i was 16 i had red jeans and i LOVED THEM! I think Katie could make coloured denim work in a big way. (leopard print denim?)
