02.28.11Taken In Arnold CircusKATIE'S UP! Thanks for being patient today - I've been in all over London all day and have only just got to my desk. How are you? More importantly, has anyone got any choice recommendations for a quick mini-break for me and the bird to shoot off to in a few weeks time. Nuffin that's going to break my penny jar - somewhere pretty, within Europe, with lots of nice food and which isn't ruled by a soon-to-be-overthrown dictator? Oh, and a decent WiFi connection. 02.27.11Taken Before Crouching TigerAwwww. Doesn't Katie look lovely? We've both been working all day (I know! On the LORD'S DAY!) and are just about ready to chill, watch some Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and maybe practice some wing chun moves on each other. How have your days been? Sunday lunch, a trip to the garden centre and a couple of speedballs? Sounds tremendous. Katie's post-church attire consists of my mohair jumper from 123 Bethnal Green Road, M&S shorts and shoes from Lavender Room. Have lovely evenings, one and all.

02.26.11Taken Before Katie’s KievsWe're just back in from watching The King's Speech (meh) and now Katie's taking a wee break before cheffing me up some chicken kievs. To say I'm excited would be an understatement - I've not tasted the molten-garlic-butter delights of a kiev for about a decade. Ditto for gammon with a pineapple ring on top. NOM. My gorgeous girlfriend wears brilliant Underground Originals boots, a Lazy Oaf shirt covered in cats and Calzedonia tights for what has been a rather slobby Saturday. Long may the slobbiness continue. X

02.25.11Taken When Katie Wore Luna & CuriousHello! We're just been looking at yet another house. So boring. Today Katie wears a poodle dress from Miguelina, Jigsaw top, her mum's Escada shoes, and necklace I got to cheer her up yesterday from the excellent Luna & Curious. They've got an absolutely brilliant new shop just off Shoreditch High Street - well worth a look if you're in the area. Have nice weekends. We're off for a posh curry tonight. I'm excited.

She wears a ridiculous sweatshirt from 123, a Jane Austen's necklace, Wolford tights and Underground Originals boots (they gave Katie another new red pair today to cheer her up - nice eh?)

I'm sure everything will be much better in the morning. Today, Katie wears some clothes. And is totally furious about it. 02.20.11Taken On Gif SundayHello! We're just back from a Wapping Food luncheon with Lotte Jones and Liam Bell. It was good. Here's an animated gif of Katie full of food and wine "coming on to me" in a lift. She wears a Burberry Prorsum coat, Luella handbag and H&M scarf. Hope you're having great weekends. 02.19.11Taken In StokieWe had lunch in Stoke Newington today. I don't like it there. I don't like the way everyone is pushing a double pushchair and I don't like the utterly awful cafe Homa. The sound of Stokie: lawyer parents whining at their ridiculously named progeny, as little Tinkerbella-Tootsie throws handfuls of organic produce at the non-white shop assistant. Rant over.
