Tonight is the launch party of a brilliant book on Scarves by Nicky Albrechtsen and Fola Solanke (Katie’s words, not mine, although I do like a nice scarf). To celebrate, for the rest of the week, Katie’s apparently going be creating outfits inspired by one of the scarves in the book. If only the guys with the guns in the Middle East were able to stop what they’re doing, go home, pick a nice scarf (or pocket square for the gentleman) and then put together a lovely matching outfit, the world be a far better place.
So, having dismissed the struggle of the Islamic proletariat as a question of colour coordination, let me tell you that today’s outfit is based upon a Thirkell of Bond Street “New York” scarf.
Katie wears a Liberty scarf, Wheels & Dollbaby tutu, Tabio tights, Cos jersey jacket and Irwin & Jordan shirt.
Nice.

Ooh, scarf is lovely but I prefer the tutu – its the perfect time of year for a Black Swan moment : ) x

gorgeous outfit but i like more how relaxed katie looks after these two days, wow !
Beautiful! Katie looks like a corporate princess.
Lovely, really fresh and springlike, however I think Joe should join Katie in her scarfdom and whip out his pocket square instead of just talking about it. How about a WJW?
Do you know who else likes a good bit of scarf action? Me. That’s who.
oh my gosh this so cute! i love scarves, i think they can make or break an outfit. plus its an easy way to add a splash of colour!
