Taken Before Tape Measure Thursday What Katie Wore | (3)
No - not an allusion to a close examination of my masculine failings. But we are off to visit our new house tomorrow to measure up for a bed and a fridge and a washing machine and... well basically absolutely everything - we own virtually nothing other than shoes. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds shoes. K wears a cardigan from 123 Bethnal Green Road, dress from Tesco and a Stolen Thunder scarf thing (check them out - they've got a sale on).

Taken In Aberdour What Katie Wore | (1)
We had some lunch and a pint at the clubhouse at Aberdour. Here's Katie in the process of making an obscene gesture at me on the cliffside. What a charming young lady she's turned out to be. Now we're riding the Stella Express (actually, Chardonnay Express - we're in 1st) back to Kings X. Hope you've all had splendid, long, deeply relaxing weekends. I have. In fact, I've completely forgotten what it is I do for a living or where my offices are. I've a hazy memory that I maybe play piano in a brothel. Perhaps tomorrow I'll just wander about ...

Taken In North Berwick What Katie Wore | (2)
It's been a fair dreich day up in Scotland. We've been down to North Berwick with Katie's kin to buy some kerry oot lobsters and have a beer with our pal Slack. Now we're back hame to pull up tha drawbridge, dry oot our breeks and git blootie in front of tha telly. Katie wears a new ASOS jacket, Wolford tights and a vintage dress and silk scarf.

Taken When We Walked Off Breakfast What Katie Wore | (1)
After a huge haggisy breakfast, we went for a wee walk around Katie's village, stopping off to look at the annual Charlestown vegetable growing competition. Now we're watching the English win at the rugby while my Scottish hosts scream support for the Irish. Katie wears her mum's skirt and Ferragamo sunnies, Topshop cardigan and Jessica Dance necklace. We're off out to our favourite restaurant in the whole world later. Tell you all about it tomoz. X

Taken Back In The Kingdom Of Fife What Katie Wore | (2)
Great news! Work phones are switched off. Out Of Office replies are switched on. And we're in the Kingdom of Fife visiting Katie's fam for the Bank Hols. And our weekend could not have started better. So far we've lunched at the fantastic Ondine in Edinburgh, eaten lemon cake in Stockbridge made by a heavily preggers Anne-France De Castelbajac Anderson whose wedding we went to two years ago, bought some new shoes in Harvey Nics and maybe taken a little wine along the way. Katie wears a Cos dress, Oasis jeans and shoes from Sarenza. Who else is doing something exciting this weekend?

It's been a very long day. I got up at 6 to go to the gym and it's 9.22pm and I'm still in the office. Sorry it's a not-much-chat-Katie writing the blog tonight. No need to worry though; we're off to Scotland this weekend so lots of R&R and yummy home-cooked food is on the horizon. The office is almost empty so this photo is taken on the desks. Katieface is back from eating all the food at Brawn. I'm still glued to my computer after a day of meetings, workshops, emails and leftover dim sum. Must sleep. Just one more glass of wine first...
