09.29.11Taken Pre ZurichIsn't this is pretty tableaux? The little dryad amidst the fallen fruit. It's like a scene from Brideshead. Got to make this a quick 'un - I'm off to Zurich for the evening. Back tomoz. In the meantime, if anyone has any tips for Zurich, I've got a few hours to kill tomorrow afternoon and would welcome an alternative to getting smashed in the lounge. Rather, Katie's dropped her phone into a glass of water and it's broken. Geddit? Quiet crisis? You can never say that WKW isn't topical. Katie wears vintage Laura Ashley jacket from Bedroom Boutique, a Zara dress and Temperley for Twinings scarf. Tomorrow: Katie muses upon quantitative easing whilst wearing a pretty dress.

09.26.11Taken On A Little LadderWe're new to the area and so what better way to rep our endz than for the missus to get on a small step ladder early in the morning and drop a 16 bar murder verse . De Beauvoir Town what?! Katie's wearing pretty much whatever she could find in one of her myriad clothes boxes. The jumpsuit is ASOS, the leggings are Red or Dead and the blouse is Topshop.

09.25.11Taken By Our New Herb GardenJust because we no longer live above the flower market on Columbia Road (didn't miss getting woken up at 4am this morning) doesn't mean we're going to let our herb game slip. Katie's just planted some sage, English thyme, lavender, rosemary, oregano, Yemeni qat, and some turbo Hindu Kush in a big bowl. And on the right is a lovely barrel of plants from Katie's folks, thanks very much! Grubby compost Katie wears her shoes from Hudson, the Ganni dress with the wee birdy on it and a Zara jacket. 09.24.11Taken After We Went To The TipAnd so the unpacking continues. I reckon we'd get more done if Katie was occasionally sober. We've been back and forth to the rubbish tip a million times today - it's genuinely amazing the amount of junk we've managed to accumulate over the past few years. Going to the tip makes me feel like a real grown up man. Even though I need to be driven there by my little girlfriend in her girly little red car because I can't drive. 09.23.11Taken When The Unpacking BegunOr should that be "began". I think "begun". Someone with a decent understanding of tense and the past participle please correct me, otherwise I'll be up all night. I'm going to be up all night - our house is full of boxes that need unpacking. (Katie would have said "need unpacked" but there's no teaching grammar to the Scots). I helped a couple of big Legends of Eastern Europe lug all our gear into our gaff this afternoon. 09.22.11Taken In Our New Garden!!!Check it out, we've got a garden! Like, only five people in Greater London have a garden. Can you believe we've got a garden? There's even a wee table and chairs under an apple tree at the back, near my Man Shed. I'm so pleased about the garden. Anyway, as I'm sure you've now gathered, we're officially homeowners. This means we're probably going to be really busy painting stuff and fitting my walk-in Cheese Cave. So, we might struggle to do the blog every day. Just sayin'. We'll see how we get on. 09.21.11Taken Before We Owned A HouseOMFGZ! We move into our new endz tomorrow. It's going to be ace. I've already drafted blueprints for a few minor improvements for us to start working on as soon as we arrive (bowling alley, late night Russian discotheque, Joe Cave, walk-in cheese cabinet). Anyhow, must dash. Got stacks of clothes to toss indiscriminately into sacks and boxes. Katie wears a coat from CostCo, Topshop dress, Jessica Dance necklace, Calzedonia tights and very cute Mellow Yellow shoes from Sarenza.
