We’ve finally got (a bit) of electricity, so the new job can properly begin! I’ve joined a brand new kind of marketing agency called Guided which looks set to be really exciting. I’ll let you know when our first bit of work comes out – give us time, we haven’t quite unpacked all the boxes yet or decided on what our agency pub is yet. Oh, and we’re based right by Spitalfields – so no more skanky tube for me. Double whoop.

Apologies for the very late post – it’s not my fault though – Katie’s been out for dinner without me. But she looks great – Gap dress, awesome tights from Tights Please and those Tabio big bow legwarmers with Kurt Geiger shoes.

So, back in the UK and today was meant to be my first day in a new job. Exciting. But then a powercut wiped out the leccy in East London and so we’ve had to postpone until tomorrow. So I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.

Today she’s wearing American Apparel tights, Kurt Geiger shoes, Irwin & Jordan skirt and an excellent necklace from Jessica Dance.

Well, we’re back to Blighty today. Hope you’ve had the heating on whilst we’ve been away. I’m off to pack up my bag.

A bit delicate today – we were force fed about 10 of the local blackberry (?) digestifs after supper last night along with a bottomless glass of something called Magno. It was rather good, actually.

Katie’s obviously going to need to put more layers on before getting off the plane. But for now she wears a gorgeous skirt from Quack+Dirk, ASOS top, the Bell & Ross and a necklace from a shop called Mad Fashion Bitch (which no longer exists). Hope you’ve all had lovely weekends and didn’t ruin yourselves on moonshine last night.

Our last full day here and we’ve had a great time, massive thanks again for all of your recommendations. Today we’ve been to see the volcanos at Montana del Fuego (would have benefited hugely from some sort of rollercoaster) and hung out at the beautiful Papagayo beach, before wolfing down recently caught fish and not so recently casked brandy at El Golfo. OMS.

We’re off out tonight – there will be blue cocktails galore, I guarantee. And I’m trying to convince Katie to use our bedsheets for makeshift togas, but she’s having none of it. Today she wears brilliant Motel Rocks leggings, Lilith skirt as a dress and Killah shoes – will be sure to get a picture if we go Greco-Roman se soir.

Great day today, thanks for all your recommendations – we’ve been to the Cactus Garden (as good as a cactus garden can be, I guess), the excellent secret underground cave complex, something called the Mirador del Rio (honestly, a bit rubbish) and then had a wonderful lunch in the old capital, Teguise. Plus, the guys at the hotel have upgraded us to a suite. Which is totally excellent – on the ceiling above our bed is a fresco of Ze Fallen Madonna With Ze Big Boobies (see below).

Today the lady’s been wearing a Max C dress, Ras shoes and a beautiful bag sent to us from the lovely Tracy from the Tote Trove. If Katie dresses up all glam for dinner I’ll be sure to get a picture.

So it’s our first time in Lanzarote, staying a tiny wee hotel called La Casona de Yaiza. It’s beautiful and very warm.

We’ve so far learned three things about Lanzarote. 1: All the volcanic rock makes it feel a bit like the moon. 2: Always order the sea bass. 3: The local wine is a very acquired taste .

Does anyone have any good local knowledge – tips, things to see, good places to eat? We’d love to hear them.

Katie’s in her first holiday outfit – shirt from Sretsis (a present from the lovely Chotilda at Supersweet), Topshop dress and Versace sunnies. I’m going to get back to my attempts to understand this wine. Chat tomorrow.

Break out that sticky blue booze,  dress your thirteen year old in a miniskirt and don’t forget the faaackin’ scratchards. I’ve pawned all of my Elizabeth Duke and we’re off to Lanzarote tomorrow.

I joke of course – the place we’re going comes highly recommended by The Guardian, we’ve offset our carbon and actually, chav-chic is the new heroin-chic. With extra heroin. Dahling.

So (fingers crossed) tomorrow’s post will be coming from a warm beach. But first poor Katie has to slog it out against the coalface in meetings in Nottingham before we fly off. Today she’s wearing Red or Dead leggings from Tights Please, a dress from TK Maxx, Temperley cardigan and French Connection shoes. Catch you tomorrow. xx

Big news today  - the top marketing industry magazine (imaginatively titled Marketing Magazine) ran a feature on how brands can work with bloggers which featured no less that seven (!) pictures of Katie. They even let me write a little column! And my bit was titled “Expert Comment”! And I sent them a photograph of my little face, which they also used! Amazing! Many thanks to the lovely Nicola Clark for the excellent piece.

In other news, I start my new job on Monday. Which, may or may not involve brands and blogs and other social media things. Pretty exciting times, eh? But enough about ME. How are you? What’s new? What do you think to what Katie’s wearing today?

I’ve got no job to get up for and it feels amazing! We’re going to go away for a little break later this week but until then I can have some serious Joe Time. I think I might even go for a run.

It’s a sunny day in London and so Katie has dressed up especially brightly – wonderful new tights with hearts on from the cool folks at Tights Please, beautiful puffy Day, Birger et Mikkelsen skirt (my-wardrobe.com have got some half-price!) and Queene and Belle cashmere cardigan. Lovely.
