Later this morning Katie will be doing some shoplifting, playing some grime on the bus through her pay-as-you-go phone and then heading to the park to drink cider and write her “tag” on the slide.

Of course, she isn’t. Apparently wearing a big Adidas logo is in someway ironic and cool, yeah? The rest consists of Carvela shoes, Day skirt, Ayten Gasson kimono shirt and Jaul Paul Gaultier sunnies.

Look at this little boho gypsy ragamuffin. I don’t know whether to cross her palm with silver or ask her to tarmac my drive.

Thankfully it’s finally Thursday, the night I’m allowed to go to the pub and drink a Guinness or two. This four day week seems to be taking forever.

To cheer Katie up while she was ill I got her a giant multi-coloured necklace crafted in the likeness of HRH Lady Diana, the people’s princess, queen of hearts, saviour of the national florist industry. And so I put the question to you: what have YOU done for your life-partner recently?

Back to work. Lots to get done this week, most of it involving those pesky internets. I’m hoping that someone at Internet HQ will accidentally turn off the main internet switch and give me a welcome week long break from all the stupid internet stuff.

Katie’s wearing heels for the first time in over a week – be careful if you’re carrying hot drinks or buckets of molten tar near her. She wears a vintage lace jacket from Edith Machinist of NYC, a Max C dress, a She Really Roks necklace and her mum’s dancing shoes.

This is a pretty good picture, eh? I think after almost two years, I’m finally getting the hang of our camera.

Today we’ve been for a walk along the canal, had some eggs for breakfast, went to the supermarket and then came home again. Assuming you aren’t in full body traction, you’ve almost certainly had a more exciting Bank Holiday than us. What have you done? Come on – make us jealous…

Katie wears her ASOS jumpsuit, Chloe blazer, Reiss jumper and an Oasis silk scarf. Very nice.

Alas, I’m not off to gwan git mi dagger on pon de Carnival – Katie’s enfeebled metabolism is not quite recovered sufficiently to handle a dangerous cocktail of Red Stripe, Guinness Punch and dried oregano. Instead, I took the little scruffbag for a walk in Victoria Park, followed by an early Sunday lunch and then a trip to the fishmongers – I’m cooking up sea bass and clams later. If my 19-year-old self could see me now, he’d probably punch me in the face.

Katie’s been in dishabille all day – my crumpled Hackett plus fours, a granny crocheted cardie from French Connection and Red or Dead sunnies. Well…it is Bank Holiday Sunday.

Katie’s been out of the house having her acupuncture this morning, which she reckons has made her feel much better. I really like this photo too – Katie’s looking far more like her old self again.

The coat is Burberry, the dress is from Vanessa Bruno, the big socks are from Tabio and the necklace is same one as yesterday  made from Claire Hartigans’s keyrings.

Katie might even feel up to a wee bite to eat, so perhaps we’ll pop over to the Water House for some noms.

We’re almost there folks. Katie’s so close to being better. Anyways, here’s a nice pic of her and a necklace she made whilst she’s been off sick.

Katie’s back! But she’s definitely not 100%. Dr. Joe is recommending another day off work without any emails, phone calls or time spent thinking about making adverts.

The recuperation outfit consists of a TK Maxx hooded dress (normally reserved for recovering from too much gin), Ras shoes and nice warm Howies long johns. It’s great to have Katie back on the blog. I’m going to make her a healthy fruit salad.
