Katie isn’t being researched on. She’s doing the research. Advertising stuff, like. You know the sort of thing. Some bossy bird plays a 30 second TV ad and then a bunch of unemployeds, students, mouthy mothers, et al. are given £20 and as much Lilt as they can imbibe in return for angrily vocalising their brainfarts about how the advert made them feel inside. It’s kind of like the Houses of Parliament for stupid people.

The research groups may well be the reason Katie is wipe-clean today. She wears a leather dress from TK Maxx, Calzedonia tights, her Bell & Ross and awesome new shoes from Underground.

I’m going out this evening. It’s lager night.

Anyway, it looks like she’s having a lovely time. Apparently saw Keano Reaves a minute ago. Here she is on Broadway wearing an ASOS jumpsuit, Topshop sequin top, wonderful, very very vintage African ivory bracelet (so no hate hate mail, ja) from our very good friends Ruth and Walter from ZA and the Bell & Ross watch.

Well, we’re back to Blighty today. Hope you’ve had the heating on whilst we’ve been away. I’m off to pack up my bag.

A bit delicate today – we were force fed about 10 of the local blackberry (?) digestifs after supper last night along with a bottomless glass of something called Magno. It was rather good, actually.

Katie’s obviously going to need to put more layers on before getting off the plane. But for now she wears a gorgeous skirt from Quack+Dirk, ASOS top, the Bell & Ross and a necklace from a shop called Mad Fashion Bitch (which no longer exists). Hope you’ve all had lovely weekends and didn’t ruin yourselves on moonshine last night.

I’m not well today. Yuk. I’ve come in to work but think I might go home and watch Jeremy Kyle shout at people until I feel better.

How are you all? Got your Christmas shopping sorted? Recovered from Katie’s shameful and beastly fur wearing of yesterday? She’s waiting next door at the pub for me to hurry up and write this and I don’t want my Guinness to get warm. But I must say, of all the brands that have got in touch with us since this blog started, Bengt, the guys that made Katie’s necklace, is one of my personal favourites. The piece is made from a disused radio and a load of keys. Absolutely brilliant – who says jewellery should be made from precious metals and stones? They also do a really cool piece made from an N64 controller. If only they did bloke’s stuff.

Katie’s earmuffs are from William Sharp, the tights are Wolford, the watch is the Bell & Ross and the dress is Max Mara. Right. It’s totally Guinness time.

How cool is today’s outfit?! Two items of particular note: firstly the beautiful fringe belt was sent to Katie by Diane at the awesome boutique Beloved Endeavour. Secondly, the “What Joe Wrote” T-Shirt was made by Katie’s friend Sasha, who has a T-Shirt business called I Love Boxie. I absolutely love both items. Definitely in my top 5. The skirt and jacket are Monsoon and the Bell & Ross makes an appearance too. Too too cute.

We’ve had the best Bank Holiday –  first we had breakfast at the Breakfast Club and then we wandered into town to see the absolutely brilliant “Walking in my mind” exhibition at the Hayward. Doesn’t this dress make Katie look thin? Or should that be slim? Which one do girls like men to say? And that isn’t to say that Katie doesn’t look thin/slim normally. Not that I would have a problem with it if she didn’t. But she doesn’t. Anyway, it’s a very nice dress from Motel Rocks which may or may not have slimming properties. The other stuff Katie is wearing includes Accessorize tights with the feet cut off, the Bell & Ross, Office shoes and…WTF is that? Yes. It’s a jammie dodger worn as a brooch. Utter utter nonsense from the people at Homemade.

Here’s Katie, a picture of domesticity. As well as admiring the house flora, straightening the doilies, curating the mantelpiece and pushing the drinks trolley, Katie also found time to cook me an utterly excellent supper last night. Moreover, in her quest to be the ultimate girlfriend, she didn’t mind one bit that I stopped off at the Slaughtered Lamb for a couple of pints on my way home. Today she’s in a Lipsy silk top, Solea shoes, Tatty Devine gin bottle necklace and the brilliant Bell & Ross. Charming.
