We’re off to a lovely little restaurant called Vincent’s to have some kind of eighteen course feast, after which we’ll maybe see what’s going on back at the hotel.

Katie’s ending the year on a high. She wears a vintage Oscar de la Renta dress from YMC (a Christmas present from moi), Bebaroque tights and Bertie shoes. I got her some dodgy fake eyelashes from Illamasqua too.

Have brilliant evenings and non-existant hangovers tomorrow. And don’t get into any dodgy minicabs.

After the summary humiliation of a Ryanair flight, we arrived in Portugal earlier today, where we’ll be spending New Year with Katie’s fam. Here’s the old dear on our balcony overlooking the 9th green of the Sheraton Golf Course. It’s not very sunny today so we’re off for a swim and a sauna – we’re planning a household diet for January so we might as well get off to a good start, innit.

K wears a Lazy Oaf shirt with cats on it (a Christmas prezzie from me), Whistles trousers, Gogo Philip jewellery and Bertie shoes.

Soz for the late post – been in meetings all day and then looking at a house. (A house conveniently located above a Chinese restaurant – still debating whether or not that’s a selling point).

An excellent outfit today. Katie wears awesome drop-crotch trews from RÜTME, Bertie shoes, Chloe top and a necklace I got her from Much Too Fun (thanks to Lorna for telling me about them). A Scottish gentleman enquiring: “Di ya ken Katie wi’ tha’ peely wally pus?” would in fact be asking you whether or not you have had the pleasure of an introduction to the pale skinned maiden named Katie. Fashion and cultural studies – you don’t get that on those other blogs now do you?

I like it when Katie wears all one colour. Remember this?

Despite being at the dentists this morning for a friendly injection, Katie looks exceptionally radiant and enthusiastic. Must be because she gets to see me for dinner later (or maybe it’s because her dentist has strong hands and a glint in his eye).

Katie’s away again this weekend for yet another hen night (all these friends getting married definitely puts the pressure on!) So, while Katie’s running amok with inflatables and devil horns, I’ll be left to my own devices, which will probably mean Pimms.

Today she’s wearing a vintage top, Whistles skirt, Wolford tights (surely too hot for tights?) and Bertie shoes.

Well that was a bit rubbish, wasn’t it? Change what? Clegg who? Anyway, I shan’t let it get me down. It’s now all about Mandy for PM. Serious.

We’ve already been and exercised our civic duty and feel rather good about ourselves. Katie’s being pretty cagey about who she’s gone for (but she was humming Land of Hope and Glory in her sleep – make of that what you will).

She’s not giving anything away in her colour palette either, although I did see Nigel Farage wearing something very similar the other week. Today’s gorgeous ensemble is a French Connection dress, Moschino belt, brilliant Wolford tights and Bertie shoes. What do you think? I really like this look.

Hi! We’re off out on a hot date later to eat shellfish and slabs of meat at Hix Oyster and Chop House. How exciting. Hopefully I’ll get a snog.
