What a scary night last night? At one point we packed emergency evacuation bags just in case we needed to do a midnight flit. Here’s to hoping nothing happens tonight.

At least Johnny Scaffolding seems to be in high spirits this morning. He’s rebuilding Broken Britain single handedly.

Katie’s in all black today (it’s probably best to wear black when the hood is rioting). An ancient Zara blazer, Tesco F&F lace top, Lazy Oaf necklace and Carvela wedges.

Joe’s at a very interesting party tonight which he’ll no doubt tell you more about tomorrow so it’s another self-portrait tonight. I’m wearing a Wheels & Dollbaby tutu, Carvela shoes and a shell necklace I’ve had since primary school.

Hiya – I’m back from my trip!

We’ve just had a long, Bloody Mary based lunch at this new(ish) place called Giant Robot. It was excellent.

And, even more excellent, we bought Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the way home, so we’re planning a glamorous evening of video games, X-Factor and the Rioja I brought back from Barcelona.

Katie wears Topshop harems, socks from Tabio, Carvela shoes and an utterly awesome new top sent to us by Tesco! It’s from their new F&F Couture range – the shoulder pads are truly amazing.

Oh. So winter’s here. Rubbish.

Katie’s wearing an entire wardrobe today: a vintage fur coat from Marcos & Trump, skirt from Future Vintage, Carvela shoes, Talullah Tu necklace, D&G bag, and who knows what else.

Our housemate Lotte has jetted off for her USA roadtrip holiday, which means we’ve got the crib to ourselves (not that I’ve got too many plans on cooking naked). It might mean we watch slightly less trashy TV though – Being N’Dubz and American Four Weddings, excluded.

I think Katie’s feeling the cold a wee bit today – she wears a Zara dress,  TK Maxx hoodie and Carvela shoes.

I thought I should probably give you fashionistas the heads up on a competition one of my work clients are running to win a weekend away in Paris. Katie’s off to work. She’s grafting on some mega important pitch which will fundamentally change the face of advertising and very likely bring world peace. Which means I don’t mind her working 80 hour weeks, because I know it’s all going to be worth it in the end. When that little African boy looks up at me and says, teary eyed…”It’s because of Katie that I’ve applied to your graduate scheme,” then it will have been worth it all.

The worker wears a Chloe puff shouldered top, Toast skirt as a dress, Tabio bow feet thingies, battered old Carvela shoes and a very nice Elinor Voytal crimped ring from Bengt.

Even the most expert of heel-wearers stumble occasionally. I’m particularly proud of having captured Katie in mid-tumble this morning, especially odd as she hardly touched her wine last night.
