Oh look, Katie’s done a thing with her hair. I was just beginning to think that after writing this blog for the past 18 years I’d finally fun out of things to say. What excellent good luck that Katie decided to do a thing with her hair on the very same day I was going to have to pack in the blog because of my writer’s block.

It’s Wednesday. I’m off out on the smash. Weeeeeey.

Soz for the late post – been in meetings all day and then looking at a house. (A house conveniently located above a Chinese restaurant – still debating whether or not that’s a selling point).

An excellent outfit today. Katie wears awesome drop-crotch trews from RÜTME, Bertie shoes, Chloe top and a necklace I got her from Much Too Fun (thanks to Lorna for telling me about them). A Scottish gentleman enquiring: “Di ya ken Katie wi’ tha’ peely wally pus?” would in fact be asking you whether or not you have had the pleasure of an introduction to the pale skinned maiden named Katie. Fashion and cultural studies – you don’t get that on those other blogs now do you?

Today Katie wears a Chloe trench, Scorah Pattulo shoes and a Max C dress. The scarf is part of a Design Week project called Love Me, Live With Me. Now that Katie’s worn it, she needs to find a worthy recipient to pass it on to – kind of like a fashion chain letter.

Thankfully it’s finally Thursday, the night I’m allowed to go to the pub and drink a Guinness or two. This four day week seems to be taking forever.

This is a pretty good picture, eh? I think after almost two years, I’m finally getting the hang of our camera.

Today we’ve been for a walk along the canal, had some eggs for breakfast, went to the supermarket and then came home again. Assuming you aren’t in full body traction, you’ve almost certainly had a more exciting Bank Holiday than us. What have you done? Come on – make us jealous…

Katie’s off to work. She’s grafting on some mega important pitch which will fundamentally change the face of advertising and very likely bring world peace. Which means I don’t mind her working 80 hour weeks, because I know it’s all going to be worth it in the end. When that little African boy looks up at me and says, teary eyed…”It’s because of Katie that I’ve applied to your graduate scheme,” then it will have been worth it all.

The worker wears a Chloe puff shouldered top, Toast skirt as a dress, Tabio bow feet thingies, battered old Carvela shoes and a very nice Elinor Voytal crimped ring from Bengt.

Today the missus is wearing a Chloe dress, Tabio tights, Benetton cardie and Lavender Room shoes. And, we’re a bit excited as we get to announce some winners today.

Katie’s off to some big old meeting this morning which is presumably why she’s dressed as a female version of Vega from 90′s classic Streetfighter 2. If things start to turn nasty, she’ll probably just scale the wire fence and jump and slash with her matador claw.

(NB: If Ryu joins the meeting then →↓↘P initiates the shoryuken, more than suitable for coping with any fence based attack).

Sport Relief is back soon – a weekend all about doing active things to raise money to help poor and vulnerable people. The nice folks at TK Maxx are selling T-shirts designed by the Beckhams to help raise money and asked Katie to “style one”. So here it is. Perhaps not the sportiest ensemble (but she is surprisingly fleet of foot in three inch heels).

My WAG’s outfit consists of the excellent T-shirt, Escada heels, Burberry gold sequin top, Tartan Spirit bag and a Chloé belt.

Happy Monday all! And it’s pay day too, so I’ve now got a pocket full of loose change to spend on scarves and mulled wine. Katie’s broke out a warm winter Zara suit, which she’s wearing with a Chloe blouse, Charlotte Eskildsen rope belt and a Topshop cardigan. Doesn’t she look warm? Perfect mulled wine sipping attire.
