That's because we've just ordered our brand new infinity sprung, organic coconut hemp filled, Fair Trade, gigantic, rotating, vibrating bed from Mr. Warren Evans. 08.26.11Taken Back In The Kingdom Of FifeGreat news! Work phones are switched off. Out Of Office replies are switched on. And we're in the Kingdom of Fife visiting Katie's fam for the Bank Hols. And our weekend could not have started better. So far we've lunched at the fantastic Ondine in Edinburgh, eaten lemon cake in Stockbridge made by a heavily preggers Anne-France De Castelbajac Anderson whose wedding we went to two years ago, bought some new shoes in Harvey Nics and maybe taken a little wine along the way. Katie wears a Cos dress, Oasis jeans and shoes from Sarenza. Who else is doing something exciting this weekend?

Here she is recreating that famous Siouxsie (sans Banshees) shot with her tour rider of sweeties, taken by David Bailey for The Face or something. Robert Smith wears a Rutme shirt, Cos tank top. Red or Dead leggings from tightsplease.com and Tabio leg warmers. Oh, and the sweets are supplied by the ever excellent Suck and Chew.

You can't really tell, but I'm nursing a fat lip - some wee beasty nommed a chunk out of my phizog as I slept. I'm getting lots of sympathetic looks from the menfolk in the hotel. 04.30.11Taken By The ClubhouseSo we didn't quite make it for a round of golf yesterday. But we did manage to visit the 19th for a few preprandial cocktails (to toast the Duke and Duchess innit) where Katie was given a ring of her own. But don't get too excited: an elderly gentleman gave Katie a giant plastic monstrosity with a flashing light inside, which she refused to take off for most of the evening, which must have made us popular in the restaurant. She wears an ASOS belt as a necklace and two Cos dresses (must have been cold). Jah Love. X

03.23.11Taken On Scarf WednesdayTonight is the launch party of a brilliant book on Scarves by Nicky Albrechtsen and Fola Solanke (Katie's words, not mine, although I do like a nice scarf). To celebrate, for the rest of the week, Katie's apparently going be creating outfits inspired by one of the scarves in the book. If only the guys with the guns in the Middle East were able to stop what they're doing, go home, pick a nice scarf (or pocket square for the gentleman) and then put together a lovely matching outfit, the world be a far better place. 03.18.11Taken Before the Long WeekendIt's been a very long week. And one which has still got a good few hours bite left in it yet. I especially love the way background dude literally couldn't care less that the missus is jumping around on the furniture. 12.30.10Taken At A RuinaPortugal Day Two and we've been for a delicious fishy lunch at A Ruina and then burned it off swimming and playing tennis so that we're ready for the delights of Willie's Restaurant later tonight. Katie's working a very laid back holiday look today - a Cos sweatshirt dress, Wolford leggings, shoes by top East London designer Laura Villasenin and a bow necklace which was a present K's friend Josephine picked up in Sydney.
