This might be one of my favourite ever shots on the blog; kudos to Jenna for the photography and for Corrina for the art direction! Joe’s out at a charity pub quiz tonight and I’m working late again, but with just one more day before we go on holiday I’m smiley in spite of it all.

I also seem to be wearing a lot of orange of late. I hate to admit this may be as a result of me now being a regular London Overground user and so constantly exposed to a tangerine palette! Today’s cadmium ensemble started with a Daks dress (an old TK Maxx find), layered with an M&S Limited Collection jumper, She Really Roks beads and awesome Wolford tights.

One more day ’til the weekend. Have lovely Thursday evenings all.

It is, of course, all a massive lie. You don’t need books to “do” an ad. Which is why these books are as hollow as the ones in Ikea, their cavities doubtless filled to the brim with all that London cocaine you read about. Everyone knows all you need to make an ad nowadays is a powerpoint, the smattering of yoot speak you picked up whilst ironically getting a Chicken Cottage (“for the lulz”), and someone that can draw an octopus with a funny speech bubble.

The dress is Daks, the boots are French Connection and the tights  are Wolford.

Big news today  - the top marketing industry magazine (imaginatively titled Marketing Magazine) ran a feature on how brands can work with bloggers which featured no less that seven (!) pictures of Katie. They even let me write a little column! And my bit was titled “Expert Comment”! And I sent them a photograph of my little face, which they also used! Amazing! Many thanks to the lovely Nicola Clark for the excellent piece.

In other news, I start my new job on Monday. Which, may or may not involve brands and blogs and other social media things. Pretty exciting times, eh? But enough about ME. How are you? What’s new? What do you think to what Katie’s wearing today?

Katie has just about recovered from all the excitement of the Issa show at London Fashion Week last night (she was at the same show at Anna Wintour and OMFG!!!!! Naomi opened the show! Naomi!) Now back to the real world and Katie has a big pitch to win this afternoon, so she’s all dressed up professional corporate style – she might as work at a bank with what she’s wearing today. It consists of gorgeous New Look sequin dinner jacket, Daks trousers, Smythson bag and a new Moschino silk scarf. Lovely.

Urrghh, the tube is gross today. Time to find a new mode of transport to work, I think. Anyone want to lend me their helicopter, drop me a line (must have air-conditioning). Had a very nice night with the Katie yesterday – we met the lovely Leanne from the tres chic my-wardrobe.com, had a glass of wine and then I baked a pie. How very domesticated. I love today’s outfit – she wears a Daks blazer, Carvela shoes, yellow socks from American Apparel and a French Connection kaftan. V cool.

Brap brap brap. Such a manic day today that I was only able to manage two pints at lunch. The big Twentysix London move is on tomorrow and I’ve got documents galore to finish off. The missus is outside The Flea Pit wearing a sunhat from some establishment on Columbia Road, Daks dress, and the shoes, the shoes! They’re from Irregular Choice.

So Katie isn’t actually wearing this outfit today. She put it on, I took a photo and left for work. But then Katie decided that it was too cold for such a summery outfit.  So today Katie isn’t wearing vintage Daks trousers (from Jane), H&M booties, top with little masks on it from a sample sale in Munich and a Harvey Nichols scarf.

Or maybe Katie just has the sun in her eyes. But she’s every reason to be furious – she worked until gone midnight last night and, whilst she was getting some much deserved sleep, she was woken up at 2am by her (slightly tipsy) no-good boyfriend. Poor Katie. Today she’s wearing Georgina Goodman shoes, Daks dress (customised by Katie) and American Apparel tights.
