So we’ve finally got round to picking a winner for our Hudson shoes giveaway.

Some pikie nincompoop in a Streetcar hirejob bashed into Katie’s car the other week while it was parked up outside the crib. Fortunately the nice hipsters of E2 scribbled down the number plate as said nincompoop sped off. Naturally, we fully expected the local constabulary to be well pleased with our crowdsourced crime-busting. Not so. Instead the 5.0 have mugged Katie off with a pissy letter talking about what is and isn’t in the public’s interest. (Out: prosecuting criminal drivers; In: block colours and the SNP). DC – this is not the big society we all voted for. I’m half tempted to bring down a real rain of vigilante Streetcar keying. Run and tell that.

Hiya! We’re cooking – our friends Nick and Kos are coming round for dinner so Katie and I are frantically cooking and chilling wine. I’m finding it difficult to type as my hands are covered in food gunk. There’s a slim possibility of food pictures on the blog tomorrow. Slim.

Katie drove me to McDonalds for some cheezburgers to soak up last nights Jägerbombs. Then she had lunch with her mate Claire at ridiculously healthy vegetarian organic raw food restaurant, Saf. Now she’s off out for a booze-free ladies’ night with the Mother girls. I might get a takeaway. If I’m honest, my January detox isn’t going as well as Katie’s.

Katie’s wearing an entire wardrobe today: a vintage fur coat from Marcos & Trump, skirt from Future Vintage, Carvela shoes, Talullah Tu necklace, D&G bag, and who knows what else.

Katie’s expecting a big shipment of floral leggings and so has donned her overalls and is manning the delivery bay.

Oh, and just a quick shout out to our mates at TK Maxx – I went to the opening of their new store on Charing Cross Road last night (free cocktails, innit) and it’s very cool (D&G shoes for men are in stock!)

Very glad to see all of your comments approving of our very stylish Suzuki Challenge winners. And very much looking forward to meeting them (and maybe you too?) at the Clothes Show at the weekend.

What’s black and white and red all over?

Katie of course. She wears a jacket from Future Vintage, a “What Joe Wrote” t-shirt especially made by I Love Boxie, a Wilbur & Gussie clutch and her mum’s amazing Jaeger palazzo pants. This is definitely a personal favourite!

How NYC is Katie? Eating in a diner, [probably] talking some Harlem jive playing stickball and always shouting, “Hey, I’m walking here” at yellow taxi cabs.

Loads of thanks and love to Rebecca for all the brill photography over the weekend. Although she might have dropped the ball with today’s shot – who’s that in the background? I’m pretty sure it’s Malcolm Tucker. He’s definitely got Katie locked with an especially menacing gaze. Hope Katie’s packing some New York mace for protection (not to be confused with the Bad Boy Record’s 90′s New York rapper-turned-preacher Ma$e).

Can’t wait to see her when she’s back tomorrow. Today she’s wearing ASOS trousers, Year Zero heart necklace, Calvin Klein boots and awesome Future Vintage jacket. Very cool.

Snow snow snow. I’ve hauled myself into work but don’t plan to stay long – how awful would it be to get snowed in at the office and have to sleep here overnight? A: Incredibly awful.
