Good morning! A tired and (still) full-of-the-cold Katie here; our alarm went off at 4.30am for Joe’s flight to Athens and despite best intentions, I just couldn’t get back to sleep. Instead I’ve been lying in bed trying to calculate how many boxes I’ll need for packing. All I’ve got to is loads…

Do you like my rainbow bright ensemble today? A cheering mix of patterned silks, pulled together by a fantastic orange cocoon coat from the M&S Limited Collection which might just become one of my new wardrobe favourites; either to clash with pinks, purples and patterns, or to tone with reds and yellows – it’s such an orange orange colour.

It’s all part of a Marks & Sparks Challenge; six bloggers have been invited to team key pieces from the new AW Limited Collection with things from their own wardrobe for a week – with their readers getting the chance to vote for the best outfit each day. The winner gets a mini break in Paris which would, of course, be lovely. You’ll be able to check out the other outfits and vote for your favourite here.

The rest of the outfit is an Imitz skirt, Olga de Polga leggings and my beloved Year Zero lego heart.

I’ve got meetings all day today but just one thing on my mind. The Big Game tonight. And I’ve got a good feeling about it. With the K back in the country, her football voodoo jinxing skills should be kaput.

Come on England!

This is our first ever three image post but there’s lots to say today. We had an awesome evening last night at the Met Bar with the Lulu Guinness girls, eating a specially created Lulu Afternoon Tea with lots of proper fashion bloggers. I was the only man there and maybe spent more time eating cake than talking fashion but it was cool to be able to put faces to the blogs we read. Om nom nom nom. I think this may well be one of Katie’s best outfits of the year. What do you think? It’s all based around an incredible Jessica Dance necklace and includes an Imitz skirt, Irregular Choice boots and a Lulu tote.

And, if that isn’t enough excitement for a whole month, Katie is also featured in Company magazine – out today. She even got to do a proper photo shoot. The blog is getting out of control. It might be time for us to visit a monastic retreat and spend some time doing some cleansing Gregorian chanting to put pay to all this partying.

That’s it – no more sun. Time to get the Polish workmen around to help with unpacking Katie’s winter wardrobe. Katie told me to mention that she went to a screening of The September Issue last night which she loved (especially the unsung hero Grace Coddington). However, as there were no guns, explosions, spies or English baddies, I’d give it a miss if I were you. Although I do like the name Coddington (maybe for a boy?) Today the Katie is wearing tights which were a present from her friend Dissy and her sister, H&M dress, Imitz skirt and belt and Carvela shoes. Bye for now.

Bye (or should that be “Cheers Pal”) – I’m off to The Open at Turnberry for the night, to watch a wee bit of golf and drink a wee bit of whisky. Poor old Katie will need to occupy herself in London this evening but I’ll be back tomorrow in time to write the next exciting edition of What Katie Wore. Hooray! We booked a holiday last night and will shortly be jetting off to a secret complex evocative of a Futuristic South American Mayan lair of a Bond Baddie. Assuming that  I’m not driven to a work related suicide in the next fortnight, it will definitely be utterly excellent. Katie’s celebration outfit entails American Apparel tights, New Look dress, Imitz silk skirt and some silly necklace thing that was purchased in a shop on Brick Lane that no longer exists.

Katie had the nerve to take these pics herself. I regret to say that they’re vastly better than my usual efforts. I hope she isn’t thinking about making me redundant as blog photographer. Today Katie is rocking a  skirt from Imitz, super cool patent Carvela boots that I  gave her for her birthday and a massive lump of bling from a little boutique in Edinburgh called Chic & Unique.
