So we decided to wander to the Eagle for a couple of bottles of vin de consolation and then buy some tulips from Carl of Columbia Road and some Class A bananas from Monsieur Moustache of Suck and Chew. 08.15.09taken on ipod and vacuum dayNatura abhorret a vacuo. And this is never more the case than when the vacuum in question has been broken and in the boiler cupboard for the past three weeks. That is, until now. Yes, I have fixed the long broken vacuum (FYI: with my bare hands) and now Katie is gleefully cleaning the flat like the good housewife that she is while I download stuff to my ipod. Great clothes today - the skirt was sent to us by the lovely Deirdre of Quack + Dirk, the top is American Apparel and the hairclip is from Jellibelly and Lollipop. ...

08.10.09taken after the medeaWe saw Medea at the Scoop last night. It was alright - though I'm not sure why they didn't do it in the round like they normally do. And they used mics, which seemed a bit unnecessary. But I liked how they'd modernised it by substituting journalists for the chorus. Once again a manically busy week for me and the lady - Mexico seems like months ago. She's wearing a lovely headband from those lovely girls at Jellibelly and Lollipop, a very cool Irwin & Jordan dress, Bertie shoes and retina-searing leggings from Motel Rocks.

08.09.09taken before the medeaSo, Katie just returns from one wedding only to be asked to a bridesmaid at another. This continual talk of marriage can't be a good thing. We're off to see Medea this evening and have some wine in the evening sun. Katie's already been on the champers so won't need much encouragement. Here she is with a bunch of calla lilies from the flower market, wearing red Kurt Geiger heels, Cacharel dress from Jane Davidson, and a wonderful little hair accessory from the lovely Jellibelly and Lollipop who made it especially for Katie.
