I’ve been working for the Man for most of my Sunday (the PR man, not the man like Jebus) but managed to take a wee break for a quick pootle around the shops with the K, inadvertently bankrupting myself in Libs along the way.

That’s about all I’ve got to say about today. So I suppose I need to mention the outfit. To preemptively answer your questions: yes, it was daylight when Katie got dressed; no, it’s not for a bet; yes, she did go out looking like this; no, it really isn’t for a bet. (I secretly quite like it actually – it makes finding her in the supermarket very easy: if I can’t see the clothes themselves then I just look in whatever direction people are craning their heads).

A few select highlights from today’s outfit: headscarf from Tie Rack, necklace from Kabiri and cardigan and leggings from Motel Rocks.

Look Katie’s virtually wearing pyjamas to work. In other news, last night we discovered Made In Chelsea – easily the best television programme ever commissioned, combining the malaise of the stupid and rich with the ennui of the rich and stupid. No idea how it’s passed us by until now. I’ll now be visiting Kettners on the regular to see if I can blag a cameo with a man like Francis Boulle.

Katie wears very nice shoes from Sarenza, my trousers (LOLZ) and a necklace I got her from Kabiri.

I’m off to some awards do tonight. Don’t wait up (and fingers crossed I win something).

Katie drove me to McDonalds for some cheezburgers to soak up last nights Jägerbombs. Then she had lunch with her mate Claire at ridiculously healthy vegetarian organic raw food restaurant, Saf. Now she’s off out for a booze-free ladies’ night with the Mother girls. I might get a takeaway. If I’m honest, my January detox isn’t going as well as Katie’s.

Hope you’re all having lovely days. I’m feeling a little bit ropey (I’m on my fourth espresso which, if nothing else, is at least masking my stale beer breath). Today Katie’s in a dress from George at Asda, amazing Spillart leggings and new Kurt Geiger shoes from the ASOS sale.

Also, rather exciting news – the guys at Cosmo asked me to guest write their Love It or Loath It section for the week. So, if you’re a bit bored at work this afternoon, take a look. (I’m actually finding writing about What Slebs Wore far more difficult than writing about What Katie Wore!)

Yes – lots of grappa for me last night. No grappa for Katie. Which is why Katie looks fresh faced (and ready to buy foam) and I feel how Gordon Brown looks when he’s trying to do his smile thing.

Anyway, here she is. The main event. The not-at-all-bigoted woman. She wears a Max C dress, a vintage cardigan, Tatty Devine belt and a Kabiri necklace thing. Beautiful.

We’ve had a very exciting day: London Fashion Week in the morning, Dean Street Townhouse for lunch and then we swung into the excellent Lulu Guinness pop-up shop off Carnaby Street before some cocktails in Soho. Phew!

I’m off to the opera tonight, dahlings. Nowt posh though. It’s La bohème but it’s being put on in The Cock Tavern, a nice pub in North London. Should be cool, although Katie’s not coming – she’s got her friend Josephine staying over.

Today’s outfit is a nice one isn’t it? It stopped raining just long enough for us to duck out onto the balcony. Katie wears the Kabiri necklace I got her at Christmas, Guy Laroche dress, Cos top and the Cartier. Lovely.

Oh, oh, oh and check it out – Katie’s in excellent mag Psychologies this month. She looks so beautiful in the picture they took. Very proud boyfriend.

An early start and a cold morning at St. Pancras – Katie’s set sail to the unchart’d barren wilderness the which lies somewhere north of  the gap at Wat-forde. Without sufficient coin, provision and a treatise on the local vernacular, I fear she may not return without mishap. Godspeed you, gentle Mackay.

Her travelling outfit consists of a counterfeit animal-hyde coat purchased in the Colonies, a dress displaying the icon of the Lighthouse procured from the madams of Shrinking Violet, a hat from Messrs. TK Maxx after the fashion of the highwayman and a Kabiri necklace of doubtless Infidel provenance.

We’re back! And we’re buying booze! There’s a roast chicken in the oven and I’m desperately trying to kill off my terrible cold with red wine and Scotch.

Hope you all had fantastic days yesterday, that Santa brought you lots of nice things and that the hangover isn’t too severe. It’s been a cold, snowy day here in Fife. Luckily Katie is full of mulled wine and wearing her amazing reversable cape from TK Maxx! Her tights were a present from me from Supersweet, as was the massive cocktail ring. She’s called Lady Basso Brooke and is by Disaya at Kabiri. BLING!
