Awwww. Doesn’t Katie look lovely?

We’ve both been working all day (I know! On the LORD’S DAY!)  and are just about ready to chill, watch some Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and maybe practice some wing chun moves on each other.

How have your days been? Sunday lunch, a trip to the garden centre and a couple of speedballs? Sounds tremendous.

Katie’s post-church attire consists of my mohair jumper from 123 Bethnal Green Road, M&S shorts and shoes from Lavender Room. Have lovely evenings, one and all.

Weeeey! Last day of work today! To celebrate, Katie’s dressed up like some kind of elf.

We went and sang carols last night at Shoreditch House. It was very Nathan Barley. I met Liam Gallagher. Here is an verbatim transcript of our conversation:

Liam: I hate it round here. Shoreditch House is full of idiots. It’s much better round my way.

Me: Where, Manchester?

Liam: Nah. Hampstead.

I’m away for the night out to the countryside which means tomorrow’s blog will be written by Katie’s own fair hand. So, by way of apology, I’m writing today’s post especially early in the morning… Yuk.

So, a slightly mental outfit today, but I’ve got no problem with that. Lavender Room shoes, RÜTME dress and waistcoat and Lazy Oaf boggly jewellery. Awesome.

This needs to be a seriously quick post but isn’t today’s outfit AMAZE. I think Katie’s channeling Ugly Betty far more than usual. In a good way.

The tank is Manoush, the bow tie is from Dolly Knits, the shoes are Lavender Room and the jacket is from Luella.

Oh, and I thought is was about time I was on the internetz again. So I’m on What You Wore, innit.

Katie’s off to her friend Alicia’s hen night  this evening. They met years and years ago when they were both fresh faced, unpaid interns fetching skinny lattes from grumpy fashion birds at Vogue. Major congrats to the bride-to-be.

In other news, we’ve both had haircuts. You can see Katie’s tomorrow. Mine was at a new place in Shoreditch called Jones & Payne and was easily one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had – as well as being lovely guys who sorted me out with an excellent snip, they also have vibrating massage chairs for when you’re getting your barnet washed and serve a seriously mean gin and tonic. You should deffo check them out.

The Lady Di necklace is by Philip Normal, the handbag is Smythson and the shoes are from the Lavender Room. Laterz.

Katie’s expecting a big shipment of floral leggings and so has donned her overalls and is manning the delivery bay.

She wears a Future Vintage dress, gorgeous silk rainbow scarf from the brilliant Bengt, Lavender Room shoes and Tabio ribbon bands.

Oh, and just a quick shout out to our mates at TK Maxx – I went to the opening of their new store on Charing Cross Road last night (free cocktails, innit) and it’s very cool (D&G shoes for men are in stock!)

Many thanks to Claire yet again for standing in for me on photo duty – I had an early start this morning. Here’s Katie in some warehouse stairwell – I can only assume its in her agency. (Btw, have I mentioned I’ve got a new agency and a new job? Well I have – I’ll tell you about it some day soon).

The outfit is all based around a gorgeous new dress that her friend Helen from Frocking Fabulous gave her (definitely well worth checking out her site). The shoes are from the Lavender Room and the jacket is from Jane Davidson.

An unexpectedly late night out last night for us so Katie might be a little delicate today. Looks brilliant in all those purple shades though – she’s wearing a Zara playsuit, H&M leggings, Lavender Room shoes and gorgeous Benetton cardigan.

Just a couple of things to tell you: firstly, I couldn’t resist doing one final batch of posts for the Suzuki Challege over on What You Wore. Check them out! We’ll be announcing the winners of the Clothes Show tickets and Style Awards tickets this weekend.

Morning all. Nice day for a new government eh?

Here’s Katie just before she shoots off up North for some meeting or other. She’s wearing a whole load of stuff: Motel Rocks cardi, Tatty Devine brooch, shoes from the Lavender Room, another Kyboe watch, Stolen Thunder snoodle scarf thing, and probably a few other bits too.

So, what new policies are you hoping for from a Con/Lib government? I’m looking forward to that promised Shoreditch tax-break (in was in their manifestos, towards the back I think) and an end to Crocs and Croc Wearers.
