Katie was out the house before I’d even done my stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Hello! How are you? Smoked any fags? I’ve not. Managed a long fishy luncheon though. Would probs have rather had the fags.

After doing untold damage to British diplomatic relations, Katie has returned from her sojourn in Geneva. Her winter wardrobe is now in full effect – H&M shorts, Wolford tights, Zara poncho and a Louis Vuitton handbag strap worn as a necklace. (P.S. Movember is in full effect – I look like a shifty RAF pilot).

Katie’s old friend Natalie is in town from Copenhagen today and so they’re going out for drinks in town tonight, which should be good for the economy. Katie’s wearing a vintage Guy Laroche dress (which she was thrilled to buy in a charity shop in St John’s Wood last night), a Louis Vuitton handbag strap (worn as a belt) and a Miss Selfridge necklace. Take care if you’re in Soho tonight.

Such a nice Sunday so far. We’ve had Georgian breakfast at Little Georgia, bought a rack of lamb from The Ginger Pig and have got lots of new plants from the market to put into the boxes on our balcony. I particularly like the way that somehow even the graffiti manages to coordinate with Katie’s colour scheme. Today she’s wearing Paul Costelloe trousers, vintage shoes, H&M top, a Louis Vuitton luggage bag (masquerading as a scarf) and the fantastic Cartier.

What with our brief sojourn in Belgium the weekend felt exceptionally long. I didn’t even mind getting up for work this morning. By the looks of things, Katie is in celebratory mood too. Today she’s wearing a skirt and t-shirt from H&M, her belt is a strap from her mum’s broken Louis Vuitton bag and her incredible gameshow host jacket is Burberry.
