I am so excited. Sadly poor Joe is still working, so I’m on blog duties tonight.

Excitement is solely house-related. Tape measure in hand, we went back to look at our house this morning (our house!) and got all giddy about how much we love it and how much we can’t wait to get our keys. Turns out we also have an apple tree at the back of the garden so looks like there will be apple crumble (or home-brewed cider) this time next year.

We thought it’d be apt to take the picture here again after the house visit. I’m grinning from ear to ear wearing a rainbow-brite twinkly necklace Joe got me in Tatty Devine, a Whistles skirt I’ve had since school and a Manoush bodywarmer to match my Wolford tights.

Yeah, worst Sunday ever. Don’t ask why we’re standing in the rain on the M25 flyover at Brent Cross. Safe to say, we’ll NEVER EVER be back. The day’s brightening up though – we’ve got veal milanese with spaghetti on the side for our dinner. Nom.

Katie’s damp motorway outfit consists of Tommy Hilfiger cords, Manoush bodywarmer and Church’s tartan brogues. Have a lovely evening innit.

It’s me again. I was dead to the world when Joe left this morning after a dinner party that turned raucous last night. So feeling a wee bit fragile, you can imagine my glee when the Scarves book opened on this cracker today meaning I could wear my Manoush fleece dress! Matching the scarf colours almost identically are American Apparel tights and New Look shoes. The Lanvin sunnies are from TK Maxx.

Dear ITV Public Relations Team,

Please can you fix it for Katie to get an Essex makeover from the TOWIE women (including spray tan, blonde dye job, acrylics, that rude thing, etc). It would be well good. While I wait for her, I could just cotch in the Sugar Hut with Arg and Mark and maybe chirps on some birds and then talk about our feelings.

Please let me know ASAP. (FYI – We’d also consider going on Midsomer. Although Katie’s not actually English and much of what I say is in Jamaican patois. To be honest, The Only Way Is Essex is a much better fit for both of us).

I’m in possession of the ultimate hangover. Stupid beer. Stupid shots. Stupid Joe.

In my current condition, the last thing I need is a Celtic ball of rage screaming anti-English invective at the rugby on TV.

She wears a dress from the Vintage Resource Studio, Manoush cardigan and a Cacharel belt, all in a vaguely Irish green colour.

Much to Joe’s chagrin, today’s photo once again comes from the Mandarin Oriental. We’ve been up since the crack shooting something very exciting for Diet Coke and this is the first chance I’ve had to get one of the guys to take my picture.

I’ve been feeling a bit queasy all day (I blame the reindeer) and seem to have inadvertantly matched my skintone to my Manoush dress. Still, Hermi’s shot has nicely disguised that and instead made the combo of said dress with my Missoni tights (a pressie from Jane Davidson) look lovely against the hotel corridor backdrop.

Tonight we’re off the Czech cuisine and heading to a Brazilian restaurant which promises to be somewhat of a meat fest. Another early start, then I’m back to London tomorrow night where normal WKW service will resume once more. Can’t promise any beautiful Prague scenery before I head home, but I will at least make sure that tomorrow’s picture is taken outside!

We had lunch in Stoke Newington today. I don’t like it there. I don’t like the way everyone is pushing a double pushchair and I don’t like the utterly awful cafe Homa. The sound of Stokie: lawyer parents whining at their ridiculously named progeny, as little Tinkerbella-Tootsie throws handfuls of organic produce at the non-white shop assistant.

Rant over. Katie wears a Manoush dress under my (slightly too big) Barbour jacket.

An impromptu party at our house last night resulted in us not getting to bed until 7am. Katie’s been suffering all day – not even the restorative powers of Shanghai Blues dim sum were enough to pick her up. It’s totally time for blankets on the sofa, hot milk and a night of terribly trashy television.

Return of the mac. Woo. The IT man dems have fixed up my computer and I’m very pleased indeed about it.

Katie’s in an outfit she’s coordinated (kind of) around a beautiful Musa Bamba bag that Rosa brought over from Barcelona. The dress is Manoush, the tights are American Apparel and the brooch is Lacroix, dahling.

We saw a house we liked on the www last night so went and peered through the windows this afternoon (the estate agents couldn’t show us inside today because all of their sales guys were busy driving through Clapham with their collars popped). The gaff is located in proper inner city East London so it’s possible I might need to join a gang, but I’m sure you agree that it would be a small price to pay to be close to the tube and a variety of fried chicken shops.

Katie’s E1 gangwear consists of a Manoush dress, She Really Roks scarf, belt from Absolute Vintage and Laura Villasenin shoes. Cool eh?
