01.07.11Taken After A Gruelling Two Day WeekI'm ready for the weekend. Katie's ready for the weekend. Not sure quite how we're going to manage a full five dayer next week. One of my favourite outfits for weeks today. The balloon tights were a Christmas present from me from Les Queues de Sardines, the baby doll dress is from Manoush and K also wears another brilliant vintage Liberty print brooch from Fab Pins. 01.04.11Taken Before Special Romance TimeKatie and I are back in the crib. We've got a chicken roasting in the oven, some wine in the decanter and some (very romantic) dub-step on the computer. We're going to eat the chicken, those of us who aren't detoxing for the rest of the month will drink the wine, and then we'll make some gentle conversation by candlelight. Or the Wii. We'll probably just play the Wii. And then polish off the sherry Katie's just found. K wears a gorgeous vintage dress from Frocking Fabulous, a Manoush waistcoat, her Cartier watch and my wooly red hat. Have lovely evenings. JX

01.03.11Taken After ApolóniaWe've just been to Apolónia, an ex-pat supermarket on the Algarve which stocks all the ex-pat food and is where all the awful ex-pats go to bemoan their British pensions, buy their Mirror and Wall's sausages and talk about NEVER GOING BACK. It was actually a very nice supermarket. They sell truffles. My supermarket doesn't sell truffles. We're all nursing hangovers today after an unnecessarily big night last night. You can tell Katie's hungover because she's in slouchy clothes and has a shiny face. Poor Katie. She wears new Whistles trews, Manoush top and a Uniqlo t-shirt. Catch you tomorrow. X

12.27.10Taken When Katie Was Slightly GreenOh dear. We're all feeling a mite green and remorseful today. Especially Katie. Still, it's nothing some leftover Christmas dinner and a bottle of fizz on the train back to London can't remedy. We've had a really great break up in Fife and will be very sad to leave, especially since I've now been thoroughly initiated into the ancient and secret rites of The Village. Doesn't Katie looks lovely today (albeit slightly clammy)? She wears a Topshop dress, Manoush shawl and Mawi necklace. Next post comes from London.

12.24.10Taken On The Night Before ChristmasA double dose of Katie today. Doesn't she look happy to be home for Christmas? The top pic was taken before an amazing meal at Martin Wishart's last night - Katie wears a Folk dress (a prezzie from me) and a Manoush gilet thing. In the bottom picture Katie wears a Pringle silk blouse, furry gilet from TK Maxx, Jessica Dance necklace and Bebaroque tights (another prezzie from me). Time to put a large glass of the Royal Lochnagar out (assuming there's some left after last night) and hope that Santa sees writing a blog about the ridiculous clothes your girlfriend wears as the sort ...

12.23.10Taken On Christmas Eve EveHiya pals. We've just been for a wee stroll along the Forth to the shop so that Katie could get her Buckie and a dozen scratchcards. We're off to Martin Wishart tonight (our favourite restaurant in the world) which means Katie's bound to be looking extra specially glamorous - I'll try to remember to take a pic of her before she gets too out of it. Today she wears a Manoush dress, part of a seriously large horde she recently claimed at TK Maxx, and my Loewe sunglasses. Must dash - it's present wrapping time. X

12.22.10Taken In The Kingdom Of FifeAfter a rather long (and for me hungover) journey we've arrived at Katie's house in Scotland. We're both looking forward to a week of getting up late, haggis and sausage for breakfast and DRINK IN MODERATION. What are your plans? Off to anywhere nice? Today Katie travels in an outfit made up entirely of Manoush, with a lovely necklace from the nice people of Me & Zena. What do you think? Must dash - we're having baby cow for dinner. NOM.

12.14.10Taken In The Mother GrottoHere's Katie in her agency grotto. It's a pretty badass grotto. There are a couple of jobbing actors dressed as elves and a Santa knocking about too. Seriously. They were probably on a break when I took the pic. I wish my place of work had a grotto. Katie wears a very fetching kilt jacket, her mum's silk scarf, Paul & Joe skirt, Manoush tank top, American Apparel tights and Zara shoes. Big party tonight. Don't expect much of me tomorrow. X
