We’re off out to celebrate K’s brother Euan handing in his MA dissertation tonight. It should be lots of fun. It also means it’s exactly 7 years since I handed in my MA dissertation: A Palaeographic Study of the Autograph Book of Major William Fairfax, 1621. When I first interviewed for the role of pianist at Le Maison de Tolérance, they didn’t feel they needed an educated man. They couldn’t have been more wrong. In fact, rarely a day passes where I don’t employ my knowledge of Renaissance manuscript culture to further my employer’s business interests.

Anyway, today’s outfit is largely based around Katie’s beautiful new red lace dress from the M&S Autograph Collection (she found it behind Le Maison de Tolérance). The necklace is Mawi, the tights are Tabio and the boots are Hunter, from Sarenza.

It’s, like, so totally beer garden weather, yah? Alas, I’ve completely mugged myself off and left a whole heap of work stuff to do by tomorrow – looks like it’s going to be a late one. It’s my own fault for going out last night (Mondays are the new Wednesdays).

Katie also went out last night, although you’d never tell. Doesn’t she look etherial? Perhaps she’s saving herself for a big Wednesday?

She wears a F&F Couture dress (that’s Tesco, to you and me), Wolford leggings and bunch of flashy stuff from Mawi and Cartier.

Katie’s mum Jane is visiting tonight so we’re off out for some Frenchy supper at Brawn. Don’t the pair of them look glamourous?

Katie wears Kurt Geiger shoes, amazing Wolford tights, Mawi necklace and a dirty bolero from the Roman Road market. Lovely.

Hey all, Joe’s in the air on his way back from a meeting in Switzerland so it’s me again. Hello.

As you might have seen from my tweets, I made it to the Scarves book launch last night just in the nick of time. But glad I got there as it was lovely to see the ladies from Vintage Resource studio and briefly meet the brilliant Mawi too. No let up today; it’s been yet another cracker of a day, but constant gags around this outfit being the result of me road-testing Royal Wedding day outfits ahead of the big event have at least help keep spirits up (I feel a whatyouwore special coming up?)

Here I am doing Britain proud, inspired by a 1960s Jean Patou scarf. The palette and pattern made me go straight to this gorgeous dress from Upstyler, worn with my mum’s vintage Hermes scarf, wee Tabio bows around my ankles and accessorised by a cup of builders.

Sorry for such a late one everyone. I was at work until about ten minutes ago and got home to find the camera battery dead. Joe’s already almost asleep, and it’s time for me to get some shut eye too, so it’s just a quick one tonight.

Today I’ve been wearing Joe’s bowler hat, Mawi necklace, Whistles trousers and a very old French Connection cardi I’ve had since school. Oh and no make-up after a blissful Dermatologica facial thanks to the lovely peeps at One New Change.

Oh dear. We’re all feeling a mite green and remorseful today. Especially Katie. Still, it’s nothing some leftover Christmas dinner and a bottle of fizz on the train back to London can’t remedy. We’ve had a really great break up in Fife and will be very sad to leave, especially since I’ve now been thoroughly initiated into the ancient and secret rites of The Village.

Doesn’t Katie looks lovely today (albeit slightly clammy)? She wears a Topshop dress, Manoush shawl and Mawi necklace. Next post comes from London.

It’s still snowing and so Katie’s mulling everything in sight whilst watching the most awful programme about an awful man called Harold Gloockler. I’m going to go to the pub.

Ciao! We’re off to gorge ourselves on a tasting menu at The Leatherne Bottlel, a wee restaurant near The Forbury (the hotel we’re staying at). Don’t wait up – it looks like the sort of place that has a wide ranging selection of postprandial boozes.

So, it’s my last day at work tomorrow. Pretty exciting eh? I thought Katie and I might go away somewhere next week. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good holiday in March? I don’t want to spend tonnes of $$$ and would quite like to get a tan.

I like the way Katie is dripping in bling today. Not to mention the ridiculous MC Hammer harem pants from Topshop. The dress is Iceberg, the shoes are Irregular Choice, and the jewellery consists of a Talullah Tu necklace, the Mawi ring, the Cartier and a big blingy bracelet of unknown provenance. Do you likey?
