Hola. We’re very excited as we’re off to Viajante for dinner this evening with our brilliant next door neighbours, Floris and Dineke. It could get messy.

In other BIG news, I am now able to wear my hair “up”. Which explains Katie’s slightly forced smile this evening. She wears a kaftan from the Vintage Resource Studio, Miss Selfridge shoes and a vintage bag that’s been carved from of a lump of wood.

Dear ITV Public Relations Team,

Please can you fix it for Katie to get an Essex makeover from the TOWIE women (including spray tan, blonde dye job, acrylics, that rude thing, etc). It would be well good. While I wait for her, I could just cotch in the Sugar Hut with Arg and Mark and maybe chirps on some birds and then talk about our feelings.

Please let me know ASAP. (FYI – We’d also consider going on Midsomer. Although Katie’s not actually English and much of what I say is in Jamaican patois. To be honest, The Only Way Is Essex is a much better fit for both of us).

Lucky me, I’m off to the walk-in center this morning to spend some quality time with the down and outs of East London. I’ve done some sort of damage to a nerve in my hand. I say “some sort” – I obviously know exactly what I’ve done through the power of Google – I think I’ve trapped or pinched my ulnar nerve at the elbow, a condition known as cubital tunnel syndrome. I’ll corroborate as soon as I’ve found out for real…

So, we’re on stale bread and water for the rest of the month after a rather big splurge this arvo. Katie’s outdone herself at TK Maxx, finding a Luella handbag (!) and some Stella McCartney shoes (OMG), which I’m sure you’ll be seeing at some point. And I’ve bought a load of junk I’ll never use – including a large decanter and a skipping rope. Seriously. A skipping rope, ladies and gentlemen.

Today Katie’s wearing Miss Selfridge shoes, incredibly cute Tabio sockettes, Motel Rocks top and a lovely Gail Hoppen coat. I suppose I had better go and do some skipping.

Look, Katie’s back to her old technicolour self. She’s in a pink Cos dress, Tatty Devine belt, Miss Selfridge shoes and a hat from the Laden Showroom on Brick Lane. The blog was featured in Spot On magazine this month – a German mag for people that want to learn English! Pretty cool yes?! Katie lived in Germany for a year and even speaks the Queen’s Deutsch so was very pleased. (She was especially keen on being described as “Katie, 18″). Lol.

Stat of the day: I read this moring that 1 in 8 couples married in the USA last year met on the internets. Can you believe that? I think that it’s probably very cool. Here’s Katie (my internet woman…although we actually met in a horrible agency pub called The Barley Mow – long closed) wearing  an utterly excellent pencil skirt from Future Vintage and Miss Selfridge shoes.

Katie’s off to Nottingham today having painstakingly planned an outfit around a plastic floppy disk necklace she got sent from independent jewellery brand Junksucker. Pretty cool eh?
