Wonderful news; Joe won two Lions at Cannes for his 2 Minute Silence campaign! I’m a very, very proud girlfriend indeed. While he toasts their success with champers in the sunshine, I’ve enjoyed being a lady of leisure in London Town today. A long lie was followed by a visit by the council pest man (yep, Midnight Christopher has made a reappearance) and then a wonderfully drawn-out Kir Royal-fuelled afternoon tea at Dean Street Townhouse with one of my really good friends who created the brilliant I Love Boxie. I guess you can say I piled on the pattern for the occasion.

I’m wearing a vintage jumpsuit with Motel Rocks leggings, an awesome vintage Van Cleef & Arpels bum bag (with chiffon belt) that my parents found in a wee shop in Royal Deeside and Kurt Geiger shoes. All topped off with my new hairpiece from Fred Butler’s collection for Lazy Oaf, and my boggley eye necklace (also from Lazy Oaf). I’m sure Joe would say that this ensemble is fit to make your eyes bleed.

Back to work for me tomorrow. Night all x

We hardly evs have ready meals but since we’ve both been at work late, we’re going freaking nuts for the stuff. Mr. Waitrose has hooked us up with his finest sweet and sour chicken in fluorescent sauce, nommy seaweed, egg fried rice, prawn toasts and Gu puddings. This could easily be the best night in human memory.

Hungry, hungry Katie wears a Motel Rocks dress, a TK Maxx dress, very nice Feud shoes from Sarenza and the same H&M jewellery as yesterday – she must like it.

I’ve been working for the Man for most of my Sunday (the PR man, not the man like Jebus) but managed to take a wee break for a quick pootle around the shops with the K, inadvertently bankrupting myself in Libs along the way.

That’s about all I’ve got to say about today. So I suppose I need to mention the outfit. To preemptively answer your questions: yes, it was daylight when Katie got dressed; no, it’s not for a bet; yes, she did go out looking like this; no, it really isn’t for a bet. (I secretly quite like it actually – it makes finding her in the supermarket very easy: if I can’t see the clothes themselves then I just look in whatever direction people are craning their heads).

A few select highlights from today’s outfit: headscarf from Tie Rack, necklace from Kabiri and cardigan and leggings from Motel Rocks.

Oh dear, we’re feeling a wee bit tired and emotional. Might possibly have something to do with the unusually long lunch the K&I just had at Polpo (Campari, Campari, Gavi di Gavi, Armagnac). Time for a little sleep perhaps.

Hello all. How are you? I feel that I might be neglecting you somewhat. Promise it isn’t intentional – to be honest, K & I have hardly seen each other all week. She’s working on some big old pitch and I’ve got this big project on at work (which is very exciting BTW – it’s something awesome that you’ll all be able to get involved with – tell you more soon!)

Anyway, here’s Katie at the Arnold Circus, a lovely old Victorian bandstand near our gaff. She wears Motel Rocks leggings, New Look dress, Stolen Thunder scarf and a zip necklace from Tatty Devine (a present from moi).

So Katie arrived home late last night post sports day with an accompanying fancy dress outfit. I’ve no idea where it came from and to be honest, I’d rather not know. Hopefully we won’t be seeing any more of it ever again.

For what it’s worth, the rest of the outfit consists of Motel Rocks leggings, Art shoes (actually, really pretty awesome), and a River Island dress.

Well this is a bit of a rarity… it’s Katie writing today! Right after taking this photo first thing this morning, Joe left for a day of brainstorming and boozing somewhere outside of London.

I’m off up to Nottingham for a day of meetings so thought it was time the Avi Rossini briefcase got another outing. The rest of today’s Rainbow Brite ensemble consists of Motel Rocks leggings, Tatty Devine brooch and Kurt Geiger shoes. The Tetris dress is vintage, as are the necklaces from Sally’s Jewellery.

Morning all. Nice day for a new government eh?

Here’s Katie just before she shoots off up North for some meeting or other. She’s wearing a whole load of stuff: Motel Rocks cardi, Tatty Devine brooch, shoes from the Lavender Room, another Kyboe watch, Stolen Thunder snoodle scarf thing, and probably a few other bits too.

So, what new policies are you hoping for from a Con/Lib government? I’m looking forward to that promised Shoreditch tax-break (in was in their manifestos, towards the back I think) and an end to Crocs and Croc Wearers.

Hope you’ve all had great days out in the sun. We’ve had a massive long lunch at Bistrotheque and then picked up tonnes of flowers for the house and the window boxes. Now time for a nap I think whilst Katie watches the horror of Come Dine With Me.
