Today’s outfit is based wholly around my new Lady Gaga knitted finger puppet sent to me from the lovely people at Rubbish mag.

Backdrop for the lovely Gaga is a vintage dress from Frocking Fabulous, Olga de Polga lace leggings, Tabio sockettes and Feud shoes from Sarenza.

Hope you’ve all been enjoying the sunshine. Definitely time to crack out the summer wardrobe I think.

Katie’s had an utterly, utterly shite day.

I’ve been over at Bistrotheque trying to cheer the old dear up. I’m sure everything will be much better in the morning.

Today, Katie wears some clothes. And is totally furious about it.

Oh dear, I’m not very good at getting the blog up early am I? Sorry guys; it’s been one of those days.

I think I’m looking more than a wee bit manic in this photo. Probably got a lot to do with it being taken as I ran to a meeting, but as Becs seems to have miraculously made my legs look longer than they are, I guess the manic face isn’t so bad after all. Today’s outfit consists of a S’Nob skirt I’ve had since Uni, autumn-coloured Wolford tights, one of my collection of vintage bed jackets and Homemade Home biscuit brooches that I was trying to make look like buttons.

Are you up to anything nice this weekend? With a mixture of dread at the size of the task and glee at discovering things I’ve forgotten about, I think it might be time for the seasonal wardrobe swap over. Poor Joe…

The missus is all geared up for her agency Sports Day. Tough luck if you’ve just bought 30 seconds of media and need a quick turnaround ad featuring a talking animal – Muvva’s gone drinkin’.

Katie wears a Team Calcraft shirt (not available in the shops), an Esprit skirt, vintage waistcoat, Max & Co shoes and the team epaulettes which Katie designed herself.

Hangover outfit tomorrow I reckon.

I woke up far too early and so challenged Katie to get ready in 6 minutes. She (almost) did it. Pretty good effort eh? News also reaches me that one of my former lecturers used the blog in a lecture on The Man of Mode! Big up to David Fairer and the Leeds English Department! I’m using my MA well and not wasting it on some marketing job. I promise.

This post was going to be called “Taken on a great day for English rugby” but apparently I’m not allowed to call it that. Katie bought 3 Anthony Burrill woodblock posters at the show at Mother recently. They look really cool but now they’ve come back from the framing shop we’re not quite sure where we’re going to hang them – they’re a bit bigger than we remember. Today Katie is wearing new tights from River Island, a hooded sweatshirt sailor dress by a designer called Lucca (can’t find a website anywhere), and Scorah Pattullo shoes.
