We’re home! It was a relatively painless flight back from Bangkok so we’re both feeling fresher than we probably should. That said though, I’m writing the blog while Joe has a doze so perhaps it’s just me who’s winning in the battle against jet lag.

Missing the thrill and mania of Bangkok, but have to admit it was lovely to pull out my winter wardrobe when we got back from the airport this morning! Here I am just before I headed into work in a gorgeous vintage dress from Another Timeless Piece with Prada sunnies and a Mandarina Duck bag (a TK Maxx bargain).

Turns out, we’re “couple bloggers”. Must be true, some apprentice hack reckoned it in the Grauniad. As a lifelong Guardian reader, I was slightly disappointed: I read the paper to feel guilty about (1) living in that London (2) secretly voting Tory (3) not eating enough pulses. I hardly expect to read some puff piece about the vanity of “couple bloggers” when I could be feeling bad about not really doing anything much about Sudan. Or the rioting classes. Or the Tories. Sadly, my day has been as guilt-free as bottom sex with a Catholic.

Ironically, my vain, narcissistic, egobucket of a lady wears all the clothes Guardian readers hate today. The Temperlery skirt probably contains manmade fibres, the shirt is from Danish brand RÜTME (think of the airmiles!) and the vintage Prada brooch is made from a lump of bone taken from the late Paul Foot’s chin.

It’s still snowing and so Katie’s mulling everything in sight whilst watching the most awful programme about an awful man called Harold Gloockler. I’m going to go to the pub.

Katie wears Prada skirt (inside out, obvs), vintage top, DKNY waistcoat and another excellent lump of Mawi bling.

Yuk. Early start as we’re both away today – Katie’s been summoned to Paris and I’ve been called away to Edinburgh. Nowt glam mind thee – just a longer than usual schlep to the coalface. I’ll be lucky if I find time to stock up on Buckfast and Irn Bru and I shouldn’t think it’ll be all Pomerol and madeleines for K. C’est la vie and see you pal.

Today’s outfit consists of a Prada skirt,vintage necklace, Anne Fontaine and gorgeous shoes from Whistles.

What Bitchbag Wore…

We had a great New Year’s day yesterday, and spent the afternoon eating freshly caught clams, prawns and fish and drinking beers on the beach.

Today we’ve had a little stroll around the golf course. Here’s Katie on the tee for the toughest hole on the course, requiring a drive of over 150 metres from the tee to clear the deep ravine and reach the green. Alas, Katie didn’t quite manage it. Twice. But she did play a great round. We’re thinking of playing more when we return to the UK - anyone know any good courses not too far from East London?

Katie’s golfing ensemble consists of Prada trousers, Nike golf shoes and that Manoush bodywarmer thing. We’re out to dinner tonight and so I’ll try and remember to get a shot of Katie in evening attire and post it up tomorrow.

Very early start for me this morning. So for a change it was Katie who got to stay in bed while I left for an early train. The K was the perfect little housewife last night – as I a couple of pints of Guinness in town, Katie cleaned the house from top to toe. It looks spotless and shiny today. Just like Katie – doesn’t she look lovely? Today K is wearing a New Look sequin jacket, Where studded shoes, H&M necklace that Becs gave her, and her brown leather Prada skirt inside out (doesn’t it look much better pink than brown?!). Bring on the weekend.

Katie’s off to give some blood this morning. What a fine, upstanding citizen (she only does it for the free tea and biscuits). And, considering the amount of Pinot Noir thrown back last night, whoever gets her donation will come out of surgery with a hangover and a kebab. Today she’s wearing a Manoush quilted jacket, Prada leather skirt, Irregular Choice booties, Sonia Rykiel belt and big up props to Petra the prop stylish who lent Katie that giant perspex bracelet.

Busy, busy, busy. Short and late post today as Joe needs to work, work, work. Today the Katie is wearing a necklace and shoes that I gave her from a shop on Brick Lane that no longer exists, Prada trousers, vintage belt and a Zara blazer. I think clashing her hair with her sunglasses is intentional. Back to work. 5pm deadline.

Katie is off to Nottingham for the night. Nottingham, where gun crime is rife, there are 131 crimes per 1000 people, where there is the  nation’s worse performing police force and where there are more burglaries per capita than anywhere else in the country. I do hope she makes it back safely to the peaceful environs of E2. Today she is wearing yellow Prada trousers, a leather bag from a souk in Marrakech and a cardigan from Topshop.
