Some pikie nincompoop in a Streetcar hirejob bashed into Katie’s car the other week while it was parked up outside the crib. Fortunately the nice hipsters of E2 scribbled down the number plate as said nincompoop sped off. Naturally, we fully expected the local constabulary to be well pleased with our crowdsourced crime-busting. Not so. Instead the 5.0 have mugged Katie off with a pissy letter talking about what is and isn’t in the public’s interest. (Out: prosecuting criminal drivers; In: block colours and the SNP). DC – this is not the big society we all voted for. I’m half tempted to bring down a real rain of vigilante Streetcar keying. Run and tell that.

Alanna and Mike are a very nice couple we know. In a bid not to become one of the 50% of marriages that end in divorce, Alanna and Mike spent their honeymoon journeying all the way from the tip of Alaska to the bottom of Argentina asking hundreds of couples along the way to share their secrets to creating a lasting relationship. Katie’s back! But she’s definitely not 100%. Dr. Joe is recommending another day off work without any emails, phone calls or time spent thinking about making adverts.

The recuperation outfit consists of a TK Maxx hooded dress (normally reserved for recovering from too much gin), Ras shoes and nice warm Howies long johns. It’s great to have Katie back on the blog. I’m going to make her a healthy fruit salad.

After the shocking football yesterday it was hardly surprising that the night deteriorated into an impromptu party at our house. I’ve no idea where this inflatable palm tree came from. If it’s yours, come and claim it. In other news, I bought Katie a nice little dog today in the hope that she’ll one day let me buy the real thing. It’s from a pop-up jewellery shop on Columbia Road – definitely check it out if you’re around East London tomorrow, every item is £20!

As well as the doggie ring, Katie wears an H&M dress, Ras shoes, a Ted Baker headscarf and my Hackett glasses. Gorgeous.

And, since we’re still getting tonnes of comments for the Suzuki Challenge on What You Wore, we’ll give you one more day to let us know who you think should win and announce the winners tomorrow.

There’s a faraway look in Katie’s eyes which can only mean one thing: just three more sleeps until holiday time. She can already taste the pina colada.

A rather muted outfit today (no doubt in preparation for all the garish holiday garms you’ll soon be seeing) very very lovely nevertheless – a Whistle’s skirt, Cos top, ASOS necklace and Ras silver boots.

This morning Katie’s in some scary graffiti doorway wearing her mum’s old Escada jeans, new Ras boots (via TK Maxx) and a Stella McCartney for H&M mac. A very nice spring look I think.

Great day today, thanks for all your recommendations – we’ve been to the Cactus Garden (as good as a cactus garden can be, I guess), the excellent secret underground cave complex, something called the Mirador del Rio (honestly, a bit rubbish) and then had a wonderful lunch in the old capital, Teguise. Plus, the guys at the hotel have upgraded us to a suite. Which is totally excellent – on the ceiling above our bed is a fresco of Ze Fallen Madonna With Ze Big Boobies (see below).

Today the lady’s been wearing a Max C dress, Ras shoes and a beautiful bag sent to us from the lovely Tracy from the Tote Trove. If Katie dresses up all glam for dinner I’ll be sure to get a picture.

Katie is so close to being over her swines that she’s been able to busy herself with the feminine tasks of the household – namely, washing Joe’s clothes, cleaning Joe’s house and buying Joe a rack of lamb for his supper. She’ll make someone a more than adequate wife one day (so long as she forgets about her silly little advertising career and is able to keep her womanly hysteria well in check). Here she is wearing my trousers (yes, seriously) from Beyond Retro, an embellished TK Maxx top, Ras shoes, and bracelets from L’Orangerie. So glad to have her back.
