Although maybe a wee bit tired - it was taken early in the AM before she caught the train up to Nottingham. Not sure if I mentioned this on the blog, but I quit smoking about three weeks ago. I say quit - I had a bit of a blip today and smoked a few ciggies. But I'll definitely be back off them again tomorrow, I promise. 02.13.10taken in waterlooWe've had a great day - a nice walk down to Borough and the Tate and then along the river for a meaty pie and a bottle of vin du Samedi. Just don't mention the rugby score. Cool outfit today, eh? Hardly what you'd expect a girl to be wearing whilst screaming anti-Welsh profanity in a largely Welsh pub. Katie wears River Island dress, All By N scarf, Red or Dead tights from Tights Please and her mum's hat. Gorgeous as ever. Lastly, there's a new post over on WYW. What Joe Wore. 12.02.09taken on christmas market nightIt's Christmas Market night on Columbia Road, E2 BRRRRP tonight. You should check it out if you're nearby and steam into the mulled wine. Although I won't be there as it's my Christmas party tonight. Yes, seriously. We celebrate Christmas on the 2nd Dec apparently. So if anyone does anything embarrassing, we've (they've) got a whole month of work to remind them (me) about it. Katie's wearing some seriously warm clothes today for a trip up to Shottingham - a Banana Republic jumper, Carvela boots, River Island dress and H&M necklace. Very nice and probably bullet proof too.

11.05.09taken on bonfire night (in the day)Bonfire night tonight, although I'm not sure we're going to any fireworks - I've got loads of work and K's going away for a couple of days and so needs to pack eight or nine suitcases probably. Here she is, looking especially demure today, wearing a Temperley beaded top, Tatty Devine telephone brooch, River Island dress and American Apparel tights. Very nice.

10.17.09taken when we came homeWe fly later tonight so all we need to do now is find a nice beach bar to have some lunch and take a cocktail or two. Ibiza has been brilliant. October is definitely the month to visit. Here's Katie in the castle grounds, wearing River Island tights, a dress from a shop in Blackheath called Bullfrogs (not sure they've got a website) and a ridiculous fabric necklace from a shop on Brick Lane that is no more. 09.10.09taken on 5k thursdayAs part of my preparation for taking an early grave (aka the Commando Challenge) in October, I'm doing a 5k run around Regent's Park tonight for NABS, the advertising industry charity. I then plan to put pay to all of my training and abstinence by going out afterwards for as many beers as my enfeebled frame can manage. Katie is already pretty enfeebled as she's working terribly hard at the moment. Here she is, half asleep, wearing Russell & Bromley shoes, River Island tights (sans feet), Max C dress and Mango jumper. Wish me luck for tonight.

09.01.09taken when katie wore a new nookaI'm chronic busy today so no pleasantries I'm afraid. But check out Katie's new bling watch! It's from Nooka (and would have been on the blog earlier but I was wearing it all last week). I love the way it uses blocks to tell the time (the top two rows are hours, the next one is minutes and the bottom row is seconds - so the time shown below is about 8.07). Pretty sweet eh? 07.19.09taken on carrot day 2An exciting day so far today. First, Katie got recognised in the street by a very sweet lady who said she loved the blog. Then we saw the leonine Nicki Clarke outside our front door buying flowers. All we needed was the woman from the Senokot adverts and one of the pupeteers from The Clangers and we could easily have cast the next "celebrity" Big Brother. Katie's all dressed up in River Island tights (feet cut off), ASOS dress, and a headband bought this morning from Charlotte Eskildsen.
