Our mate Dan is THE #1 BEST ADVERTISING PLANNER IN LONDON. He’s got a presentation today to prove it. We’re wishing him good luck. Although he won’t need it. Because he’s THE #1 BEST ADVERTISING PLANNER IN LONDON.

Doesn’t the missus look nice today. She wears an M&S Limited Collection kimono, Rutme dress, Tatty Devine sparkler necklace and Les Queues de Sardines tights.

I’m off for a lovely lunch at Fino. Have excellent Mondays innit.

Look at her cheery little pus! That’s because we’ve just ordered our brand new infinity sprung, organic coconut hemp filled, Fair Trade, gigantic, rotating, vibrating bed from Mr. Warren Evans. It’s totes amaze (even if I might have made up some of its features). A mere matter of days before we’ll be sleeping in it in our new gaff, where it will reside with both of our other items of furniture.

Katie wears a vintage Ungaro blouse from Upstyler, a Cos silk knit tank and an excellent Tatty Devine necklace I got her last week, probably to apologise for being so annoying all the time.

I am so excited. Sadly poor Joe is still working, so I’m on blog duties tonight.

Excitement is solely house-related. Tape measure in hand, we went back to look at our house this morning (our house!) and got all giddy about how much we love it and how much we can’t wait to get our keys. Turns out we also have an apple tree at the back of the garden so looks like there will be apple crumble (or home-brewed cider) this time next year.

We thought it’d be apt to take the picture here again after the house visit. I’m grinning from ear to ear wearing a rainbow-brite twinkly necklace Joe got me in Tatty Devine, a Whistles skirt I’ve had since school and a Manoush bodywarmer to match my Wolford tights.

I like this picture. I was at the tills at Selfridges (stocking up on bare dim sums) when I noticed Katie’s ensemble matched the neon signage in that background. Yeah? Like that? That’s like photographic composition and all sorts.

We’ve been off work today dossing about London on a one-day staycation. What have you been up to? Anything nice? Sweating a lot?

Joe left bright and early this morning for sunny Cannes, taking with him our camera and big hopes of bringing back some metal. Right about now his fingers will be crossed awaiting the results of the PR Lions. I’ll let you know tomorrow how he got on.

Here I am about to head home in the rain for some Katie time, wearing an outfit based entirely on my Tatty Devine ice cream brooch. The rest of my matchy-matchy Neapolitan outfit is a vintage bed jacket, S’Nob de Noblesse skirt and Miista shoes.

Happy anniversary mum & dad!

I can’t type any chat today – I’ve got lots to get done and I’m desperate to get out of this office.

Kates wears a Darling coat, vintage yah-girl shirt from 123, Wolford herringbone tights and an excellent rabbit in a hat necklace from Tatty Devine.

I woke up early this morning and booked us in for a surprise night away in the countryside. I’m like totes clocking up ’nuff boyfriend points. We’re at The Miller of Mansfield – the ivy-clad hotel behind Katie in the pic – in the picturesque village of Goring On Thames. It’s gorgeous. So far we’ve walked along the river and had a pint and a ploughman’s and taken a bunch of photos.

Hiya! Doesn’t Katie look lovely today? We’ve done the grocery shop, bought me a McDonalds hangover cure (3 x cheeseburgers, fries) and then went to the cinema in Greenwich. All in all, an excellent start to the long weekend, soon to be made even better when our Chinese delivery arrives (crispy duck, dim sum, sweet and sour chicken). I’m getting fatter by the day – might need to go for a run tomorrow. Hope you’re all having excellent evenings.

Katie’s relaxed chill-out clothes consist of a jumper from 123 Bethnal Green, Whistles skirt and super cute lollipop brooch from Tatty Devine (they’ve got a big sale on in their Brick Lane shop).

I’m afraid I’ve not got much chat today – I’m drowning in a sea of emails and presentations.

Check out the new Swatch Katie’s rocking today (she used to obsessively collect Swatch watches when she was a wee girl). It’s cool isn’t it?

Also rather cool is her new  velour jumpsuit, another excellent find from the Vintage Resource Studio. The necklace is Tatty Devine and was a present from me (I probably needed to apologise for something).
