12.07.10Daken Gen Doe Rost A GoofSorry, that's "Taken When Joe Lost A Tooth". I've become even less wise today with the extraction of yet another wisdom tooth. I can't open my mouth and I'm bleeding quite a bit. Fortunately, I'm pepped up on novocaine and Katie's co-codamol and watching kids TV. In many ways, this is the life I'd always hoped I'd get to live. Today Katie wears a gilet and leather dress from TK Maxx, American Apparel tights and an awesome Tatty Devine telephone brooch. 08.09.10Taken On ToothdayDespite being at the dentists this morning for a friendly injection, Katie looks exceptionally radiant and enthusiastic. Must be because she gets to see me for dinner later (or maybe it's because her dentist has strong hands and a glint in his eye). A lovely outfit nevertheless. 07.14.10Taken When Joe Went AwayWell this is a bit of a rarity... it's Katie writing today! Right after taking this photo first thing this morning, Joe left for a day of brainstorming and boozing somewhere outside of London. I'm off up to Nottingham for a day of meetings so thought it was time the Avi Rossini briefcase got another outing. The rest of today's Rainbow Brite ensemble consists of Motel Rocks leggings, Tatty Devine brooch and Kurt Geiger shoes. The Tetris dress is vintage, as are the necklaces from Sally's Jewellery. 06.09.10Taken After Weisswurst NightKatie's in a far better mood this morning than yesterday after I managed to track down the ingredients for her favourite meal last night (big up to Selfridges Food Hall). So we had Weisswurst, white asparagus and sweet mustard, a favourite from when the missus used to live in Germany. NOM. Today she's wearing a vintage Lego/Tetris style dress, Olga de Polga lace leggings, Georgina Goodman shoes and Joe and Katie name necklaces from Tatty Devine. So cute. 06.03.10Taken On Maldives H&H SpecialHi! So the top pic is Katie today - a French Connection sundress and a sunhat from the L'Orangerie on Columbia Road. The bottom pic is Katie last night in a TK Maxx dress and a wonderful Tatty Devine cocktail umbrella necklace. And of course, lots of Soltan in both (and the de rigueur whiff of Amaretto). 06.01.10Taken On The BeachIt's so awesome here. We're staying on a little island called Meeru - it's utterly amazing. We're especially surprised by just how many sharks and rays we've seen - they're like literally everywhere, but I don't think they're the bitey kind. I've started naming my favourites. As of tonight, I'll start taking pictures of what Katie wears for the evening (you know how much she likes to get dressed up for dinner). Anyway, I wanted to invite you all to a charity auction tonight. One of the teachers at Columbia Road School near my house had a stroke and has been left really ill. She's wearing a whole load of stuff: Motel Rocks cardi, Tatty Devine brooch, shoes from the Lavender Room, another Kyboe watch, Stolen Thunder snoodle scarf thing, and probably a few other bits too. So, what new policies are you hoping for from a Con/Lib government? I'm looking forward to that promised Shoreditch tax-break (in was in their manifestos, towards the back I think) and an end to Crocs and Croc Wearers.
