05.29.11Taken In Goring On ThamesI woke up early this morning and booked us in for a surprise night away in the countryside. I'm like totes clocking up 'nuff boyfriend points. We're at The Miller of Mansfield - the ivy-clad hotel behind Katie in the pic - in the picturesque village of Goring On Thames. It's gorgeous. So far we've walked along the river and had a pint and a ploughman's and taken a bunch of photos. Katie wears a Tatty Devine necklace, vintage dress and Underground Original boots. 02.19.11Taken In StokieWe had lunch in Stoke Newington today. I don't like it there. I don't like the way everyone is pushing a double pushchair and I don't like the utterly awful cafe Homa. The sound of Stokie: lawyer parents whining at their ridiculously named progeny, as little Tinkerbella-Tootsie throws handfuls of organic produce at the non-white shop assistant. Rant over. 12.06.10Taken in the Rave Wet RoomWell, what to say about this one?! Here's Katie in what used to be Lotte's wet room. And yes, it does have a green neon light. 12.05.10Taken For Savoy Round IIAfter a pretty epic birthday dinner for K's mum last night at the Savoy Grill we somehow managed to blag lunch at the Savoy River Restaurant today as well. 11.26.10Taken After The Shark TripThere were some fisherman chatting nuff ting yesterday about sighting a whole bunch of whale sharks a couple of hundred miles away - whale sharks are massive, the biggest fish in the sea. So, ignoring the fact that most fisherman are liars with substance abuse issues, we decided to tag along on a boat this morning with a few others from the hotel. And... we got to swim with whale sharks. It was awesome. We were able to get right up in their krill (geddit?!) just with a mask and flippers and they were huge too, easily 8 metres. Potential ...
