A tired and (still) full-of-the-cold Katie here; our alarm went off at 4.30am for Joe's flight to Athens and despite best intentions, I just couldn't get back to sleep. Now just time for a wee snooze before dinner at The Boundary later (yeah - we're gutted about missing Blue vs. Jedward). 05.09.11Taken in Eerie LightHey it's Katie, long time no speak. It's just 9.30pm but the jetlag has finally caught-up with hard-living Joe and he's already tucked up in bed sound asleep. Joe took this shot on the way home from long days at work for us both; isn't the light very otherworldly? My friend Jess is going to work in Rwanda for 6 months and tonight is her leaving do... safe to say that it's very likely I'll be feeling bleary eyed tomorrow! Today's shot was taken in the Barrandov studios, the oldest in Prague - built in the '30, its history is inextricably linked with that of the Czech republic. But I'm sure you've all read your Kundera. Soz - that sounded incredibly worthy and utterly out of keeping with the blog. Which is also the reason for the technicolour dreamcoat I'm wearing today - all designed to detract from the bags under my eyes that didn't disappear even after a good 11 hours kip last night. It was very cool (and nominated for best stand of the show) but I reckon Katie looks just a little bit embarrassed to see her name in meter high type.
