Good morning! A tired and (still) full-of-the-cold Katie here; our alarm went off at 4.30am for Joe’s flight to Athens and despite best intentions, I just couldn’t get back to sleep. Instead I’ve been lying in bed trying to calculate how many boxes I’ll need for packing. All I’ve got to is loads…

Do you like my rainbow bright ensemble today? A cheering mix of patterned silks, pulled together by a fantastic orange cocoon coat from the M&S Limited Collection which might just become one of my new wardrobe favourites; either to clash with pinks, purples and patterns, or to tone with reds and yellows – it’s such an orange orange colour.

It’s all part of a Marks & Sparks Challenge; six bloggers have been invited to team key pieces from the new AW Limited Collection with things from their own wardrobe for a week – with their readers getting the chance to vote for the best outfit each day. The winner gets a mini break in Paris which would, of course, be lovely. You’ll be able to check out the other outfits and vote for your favourite here.

The rest of the outfit is an Imitz skirt, Olga de Polga leggings and my beloved Year Zero lego heart.

Living the unglamorous life that we do, we’re speed-dialling the Chinese takeaway in this eve, post-haste. I suggest you do the same.

Hey it’s Katie, long time no speak. It’s just 9.30pm but the jetlag has finally caught-up with hard-living Joe and he’s already tucked up in bed sound asleep. Joe took this shot on the way home from long days at work for us both; isn’t the light very otherworldly?

Hard to tell in the shot, but today I’m wearing red cut-out Wolford leggings, a Cacharel Liberty print dress and almost matching Comic Relief Liberty print bag (from TK Maxx). Can’t believe just how decidedly scary my Year Zero Joker looks in this shot.

Early night for me too; just the thought of a full week at work makes me feel as sleepy as Joe.

A really quick post this evening because I’m soaking up the last of the sun in the OAP’s beer garden. My friend Jess is going to work in Rwanda for 6 months and tonight is her leaving do… safe to say that it’s very likely I’ll be feeling bleary eyed tomorrow!

Katie’s in Prague, dropping some advertising truth bombs.

Today’s shot was taken in the Barrandov studios, the oldest in Prague – built in the ’30, its history is inextricably linked with that of the Czech republic. But I’m sure you’ve all read your Kundera. Soz – that sounded incredibly worthy and utterly out of keeping with the blog. What I meant to say is I hope Katie is getting totally crunked on Czech boozes. Weeeeey!

Katie’s going for the dressed-by-aid-workers look today: a polo neck from Whistles, a Year Zero necklace, Underground Originals boots and a vintage dress, mohair waistcoat and awesome chunky wool leggings all on loan from the Vintage Resource Studio.

Katie’s all up in the NYC version of her agency. It looks like someone turned the lights on in a gay club.

Hey folks, it’s Katie – no Joe as I had a long lie today after the double 4am starts this week. Which is also the reason for the technicolour dreamcoat I’m wearing today – all designed to detract from the bags under my eyes that didn’t disappear even after a good 11 hours kip last night.

I’m off to meet Lotte for a facial and then some cocktails so sorry this is a quick one. Before I dash though, the green dress is Pringle, the orange one Cos and the Joker brooch a Christmas pressie from Joe from Year Zero.

Check out the Suzuki stand at the Clothes Show – it’s all branded up with What Katie Wore stuff! It was very cool (and nominated for best stand of the show) but I reckon Katie looks just a little bit embarrassed to see her name in meter high type.
