What a scary night last night? At one point we packed emergency evacuation bags just in case we needed to do a midnight flit. Here’s to hoping nothing happens tonight.

At least Johnny Scaffolding seems to be in high spirits this morning. He’s rebuilding Broken Britain single handedly.

Katie’s in all black today (it’s probably best to wear black when the hood is rioting). An ancient Zara blazer, Tesco F&F lace top, Lazy Oaf necklace and Carvela wedges.

Turns out a lot of you lot believed the ridiculous story that Katie had launched her own agency called Night Out In Swansea. Shame on you for believing me. There was zero element of believability in any aspect of the story. It is NOT TRUE.

In other news, Katie’s agency Night Out In Swansea has really hit the skids. The bottom has fallen out of the transmedia narrative truthbomb market. The bubble has burst; the dotcom has boomed (not least because we spent all of the start-up money on hiring one of those social media gurus whose sole contribution to NOIS was to put our showreel on YouTube and disable the comments). Oh, and we bought a yacht for Cannes. We’re keeping that.

Katie’s in mourning. She wears a vintage pleated dress from Vintage Resource Studio, Zara blazer, vintage leggings, and shoes from TK Maxx.

Katie’s suffering today – she had a massively late one last night at the launch party of her brand new agency, Night Out In Swansea. She’s already had calls from some of the most dynamic and innovative marketing directors in Europe, and so we’re off yacht shopping in the next couple of days to make sure we’ve got something decent for Cannes. Here’s to lighting cigars with fifties.

K’s hangover was further aggravated by lunchtime Campari with her mate Alicia at Da Polpo but seems to be fading fast now that she’s getting stuck in to some preprandial beers with Lotte Jones. She’s wears a vintage dress, Zara shawl, Absolute Vintage teddy bear belt and Versace sunnies.

Katie’s puffing on that ‘dro virtually 24/7 and when she’s not, she’s toasting Damien Marley style or practising her dutty wine. Which leaves me to work on my rum game and get my tan ready for my imminent TOWIE cameo (they’ll call eventually – perhaps I could play Joey Essex’s dad).

Weeeey. We’re back at Babington House to enjoy country air and mud wraps alongside minor celebs and Essex-builders-done-good. Alas, vajazzles are on neither the treatment list or the cocktail list. Gutted.

Anyway, I’ve got the dreaded man flu so will probably be taking it very easy while Katie swims laps and drinks wheatgrass.

Hello all. How are things? We’ve been out for some lunch over in Vicky Park and have now wandered home for some X-Factor and maybe to book a holiday or something. What are you up to?

Katie wears new Wolford tights, Zara shoes, Orla Kiely dress and her Joe-llery necklace – all very Countryfile I think, in a good way.

We’re back from a lovely wedding – major congrats to Oliver and Alicia and thank you for a lovely day. Anyone who fancies a weekend away enjoying the fine Sussex countryside  should totally check out Midhurst. And if you do, you should also definitely call Charles who runs The Town House a little boutique B&B we stayed at – it was excellent (Charles even came and picked us up from the reception).
